"Araneaix are nocturnal, carnivorous wyverns. During the day, they spend most of their time sleeping or maintaining their lairs. Which are usually found in caves and other dark, damp spaces. These wyverns are incredibly dangerous, with vicious teeth and venomous fangs. It is said to be able to kill even large dragons with a single bite. Despite this, many trainers adore this dragon for their curious personalities, and unique appearance. As dangerous as they can be, they will avoid attacking people unless provoked."

The Araneaix has a 1% chance of hatching from the Spider Egg.
With the Lucky Egg gamepass, the Araneaix has a 2% chance of hatching.
The other dragons exclusive to the Spider Egg are the:
- Paukiki, with a 44% chance of hatching.
- Scrawei, with a 5% chance of hatching.
- Skelltor, with a 50% chance of hatching.
The Araneaix has a 3% chance of hatching from the Possessed Egg.
With the Lucky Egg gamepass, the Araneaix has a 5% chance of hatching.
The other dragons exclusive to the Possessed Egg are the:
- Skelltor, with a 49% chance of hatching.
- Paukiki, with a 40% chance of hatching.
- Scrawei, with a 5% chance of hatching.
- Goliatomb, with a 2% chance of hatching.
- Dratheros, with a 1% chance of hatching.
The Araneaix is able to be bred only with other Araneaixes. It has a 12-hour breeding cooldown and a 
25,000 Coin breeding fee.
In addition, the female parent of the offspring will become Soul Bound, and thus be unable to be auctioned, bred, or traded.
The same rules apply to Co-Hatching, however both players' parent Araneaixes will become Soul Bound.
The minimum starting bid is 25,000 Coins.
The auto buy has the same limit.
The Araneaix is able to be traded.

The Araneaix could be obtained by merging five Adult or Elder Paranoxes together at the Merge Lab during the Halloween Event 2023.
The Araneaix can be obtained by merging five Paranoxes together at the Merge Lab during the Halloween Event 2024.

- The Araneaix's name was likely inspired by the order containing spiders, Araneae.
- The Araneaix drew inspiration from various spider species, including jumping spiders, the red-legged tarantula, and wolf spiders.
- The Araneaix's second and third pairs of wings were removed to make the dragon simpler to model.
- The Araneaix has a limited UGC accessory based off of it, that being the Araneaix Legs.
- The Araneaix is featured on the Halloween Event 2023 badge icon.
- The Araneiax currently has the most functional eyes out of any dragon, with 8 eyes in total.
- However, the Kostragula has the most eyes altogether, including its non-functional eyes, with 14 in total.
- The Araneaix was made breedable on March 8th, 2024, alongside the Aeroseys, Falugeis, Fayrah, Geoteryx, Harvitius, Hexalios, Lepilon, Nakahii, and the Stymelisk with Wave 3 of the breedable Soul Bound dragons.[1]
