Camera icon

The Camera is a feature that allows the player to more easily take screenshots. The Camera can be found at the very top left of the player's screen via Camera Mode and in the Menu on PC.

The player can choose from one of 10 filters available. On PC, the player is able to move the Camera's view around a limited free range.

Controls[]

The player can move the Camera view with the W, A, S, and D keys. The Camera can be moved up with the E key and down with the Q key. The player can zoom in or out with the mouse scroll button on PC but cannot on mobile.

The player may take a screenshot with the Capture button, which is located on the left. When taken, the player will have the option to save it to their device's personal photo library. Located beside it is the Head Tracking option, which the player can toggle to green where the player's dragon follows their camera, to yellow so the dragon's current head position is kept, and to red to reset its head tracking to its default position.

The Filters menu can be hidden via the downwards arrow, and the player can lock the camera's current position with the Lock Camera button. The player can toggle their avatar's visibility with the Show/Hide Avatar button, which is located on the right. The player may also add a black letterbox atop and below their screen, which can be toggled via the Black Bars button and be turned on and off. The bottom left side of the letterbox will display the Dragon Adventures logo, the player's username, and their ridden dragon's species name.

When the player is in Camera mode, they will be unable to move or interact with any menus and any equipped dragons will stop moving. If a dragon is a certain distance away from the player, they will continue maneuvering towards the player until they are close enough to them. Dragons cannot display other animations or perform actions once the player enters Camera mode. The camera's options will disappear after 2 seconds if the player does not move their mouse or their screen on mobile.

There are currently 12 filters. Each filter (with the exception of Normal) will display a color overlay on the player's screen. The Blossom, Frosted, Rainy, and Bat filters add additional effects to the player's screen.
