Co-Hatching is a feature that allows two distinct players to breed their dragons together. Unlike breeding, the offspring of the Co-Hatched dragons will be given to the player as a Co Hatch Egg.
Mechanics[]

Co-Hatch request
In order to Co-Hatch, the player must first send a Co-Hatch request to another player from the Social tab or interact with their avatar directly. If the other player accepts, a menu will be brought up showing all of the player's dragons, with males listed above and females below.
Co-Hatch requests may be allowed to all players, only to the player's friends, or no one. These toggles may be found under settings in the
Menu under "Co-Hatching Requests."
Breeding[]
Similar to breeding, each player must select a dragon that is not fainted and is aged Adult or older (age 66+), one male and the other female. The player must own the world a world dragon comes from if they wish to breed it. Once an applicable dragon is picked, the player will be able to remove it or click "Accept", where the breeding of the two dragons will only be finalized when both users accept. Both users must be able to afford the breeding fee that is put in place, with the rarer dragon's rarity being prioritized over the more common dragon's rarity.

Soul Bound notice
If the player selects a Soul Bound species, then the other player must also pick the same dragon species to go forth with the breeding. Breeding two Soul Bound dragon species together will make both the male and female parent Soul Bound, which will disallow them to be bred again, traded, or auctioned. Both of the dragons hatched from either of the Co Hatch Eggs will not be Soul Bound until they are bred.
When accepted, each player will be given one Co Hatch Egg that contains either of the parent dragon's species and traits in it, and the parent dragons will enter a breeding cooldown (if world) or become Soul Bound (if event, season, Guild Wars, tribute, or Daily Login). The baby dragon has a 50% chance to hatch as either species in the egg.
Trait Inheritance[]
Baby dragons created both by breeding and Co-Hatching will inherit traits dependent on their parents' traits. This includes the baby's colors, materials, element, pupil, personality, mutations, and traits.
See Breeding for more details.
