"Corrupt chronocus are a rarity to behold. This freak of nature has created a disruption to the natural hierarchy. Originally once regular Chronocus, corruption seems to have now adapted to this world..now spreading to those near by. Such as these gentle giants. now turned in to deformed unpredictable monsters.
All living beings consumed by this corruption will slowly decompose and loose all mental awareness. Their behavior is erratic and dangerous, as they often will attack unprovoked. The corruption heightens their speed and some of their abilities as their instinct to spread and survive for longer becomes stronger.
Much is still unknown about how extreme things can get coming from the corruption, but for now only isolated cases have been seen in chronocus."

The Corrupted Chronocus can be hatched from the following egg(s):
The Corrupted Chronocus has a 9% chance of hatching from the Shadow Egg.
With the Lucky Egg gamepass, the Corrupted Chronocus has a 12% chance of hatching.
The other dragons exclusive to the Shadow Egg are the:
- Noctorius, with an 63% chance of hatching.
- Impiavolo, with an 10% chance of hatching.
- Kostragula, with a 12% chance of hatching.
- Ortarouk, with a 6% chance of hatching.
The Corrupted Chronocus is able to be bred only with other Corrupted Chronocuses. At level 1, it has a 2-day, 23-hour, 25-minute, and 26-second breeding cooldown, and at level 50, it has a 1-day, 19-hour, 11-minute, and 40-second breeding cooldown. It has a 
75,000 coin breeding cost.
In addition, the female parent of the offspring will become Soul Bound and thus be unable to be auctioned, bred, or traded.
The same rules apply to Co-Hatching, however both players' parent Corrupted Chronocuses will become Soul Bound.Gallery[]

- As its name suggests, the Corrupted Chronocus is a corrupt, Shadow Altar version of the Chronocus.
- The Corrupted Chronocus is currently the only Shadow Altar dragon to be based off an already existing dragon.
- The Corrupted Chronocus was the first Shadow Altar dragon to be based off of a Prehistoric world dragon to be released.
- The Corrupted Chronocus has permanent Granite material on its wing claws and some of the markings on its wings.
- The Corrupted Chronocus is one of five dragons to have a space in its name, the other four being the Ancient Aranga, Ancient Tosknir, Lum Luenh, and the Mother Dragon.
- The Corrupted Chronocus emits tertiary-colored particles from its body and tail.
- The Corrupted Chronocus was made breedable on June 27th, 2025, alongside the Atravanta, Cosmalisk, Dratheros, Impiavolo, Lum Luenh, and the Vyreas with Wave 6 of the breedable Soul Bound dragons.[1]
