Cosmetics are items that are used to customize the player's starter Backpack and Fishing Rod. As their name suggests, they offer no buffs to the player's character. They cannot be salvaged, traded to other players, or be sold.

There are currently only two kinds of cosmetics: backpacks and fishing rods. The player can equip only one backpack and one fishing rod at a time and can equip a cosmetic by selecting one in their inventory and clicking "Equip." Players can only have one of each cosmetic.

Cosmetics can be located in the player's inventory in the Gear section and underneath the "Tools" tab.

Obtainment[]

All players are given a Backpack and a Fishing Rod. The backpack serves no purpose, however the fishing rod allows the player to fish. Most cosmetics can be purchased from world shops, however some can be obtained from Dragon Seasons via the Dragon Pass, be bought from event shops or Guild shops, or be obtained from certain bundles.

There are also 5 legacy backpacks that could be earned by players for what player level they had reached prior to September 20th, 2021.
