The Cybernid is an event dragon that originally released in Week One of the Galaxy Event 2023.

Dragonpedia[]

"Originating on the wasteland's moon, the Cybernid is an artificial Venid-like robot designed and engineered by an unknown entity. The name of this entity is theorized to be on the underside of one of the machine's wings, but translation efforts remain unsuccessful. Since the original one (nicknamed 'PB09' by researchers) was recently recovered, more have been found scattered all over the galactic world—making them a fairly common sight throughout the moons' mines and beyond. Originally used for speedy transportation, Cybernids are equipped with 4 main turbine engines on their wings and an aerodynamic shape that mimics that of the Venid species. Cybernids have a durable metal exoskeleton that protects their delicate inner workings, giving them decent health and good defensive stats. Although they were primarily built for speed and durability, Cybernids are mainly used for fast travel and aerial racing instead of head-to-head combat."

Trivia[]

  • Modeled by JaxonBirb.
  • Animated by BlckBrryJam.
  • The Cybernid was inspired by the Venid, Robodon, and planes, specifically the Boeing 747 and 777, during its design process.
  • The runes on the Cybernid's wings are coded to represent PiperB1's username initials and lucky number. Lore-wise, they are meant to be "the name(s) of Cybernid's engineer(s)".
  • A full document containing extra facts and content regarding the Cybernid's development can be found here.
  • During its initial release, the Cybernid was unable to be traded in older servers. A fix for this bug was published to new servers shortly after its addition.[1]
