The Desert Boss entrance can be located at the large pyramid's entrance. Players are awarded 1,000 Coins and 1,000 EXP for defeating it.

Appearance[]

The Desert Boss seems to be inspired by Anubis, the Egyptian god of death and the afterlife. Its body is colored black and dark-grey, which fades slowly into a ghostly blue near its wisp-like tail. Its canine-like head has a jagged snout, two blank eyes, and a vibrantly colored postiche and helmet-like armor. The gold armor is also present on its shoulders and on its wrists, and bears navy blue-colored patterns. Atop its helmet is a red jewel, and covering its neck is a white tassel colored gold and blue at its end.

Fight[]

Stage 1 begins with the Desert Boss targeting the player. It will bite the player 2 times before ramming them once. It will continue doing this until a third of its health bar has depleted.

Stage 2 begins with the Desert Boss retreating to its platform. It will create a red shield around itself that will prevent any damage to it. Four waves of four mobs each will begin dispensing out of each corner of the room. The second half of the boss's health bar will deplete each time a mob is killed.

Stage 3 reintroduces the Desert Boss with a new freeze attack. Every third ram attack will freeze the player for 5 seconds. It will continue biting the player and ramming them as well until the last of its health has been depleted.

Dragons[]

The following dragon species are native to Desert:

Agricos[]

Agricos Icon

"The Agricos is a widespread dragon species found in the Desert world. The Agricos is hardy and well-defended, and will not back down easily from any who challenge them. Their territorial nature causes them to often battle with others of their kind to claim the best sunning area, as they bask in the sun for long periods of time to rejuvenate. Furthermore, their tough scutes provide defense, communication, and intimidation, while their flexible wings allow long gliding distances over the scorching sands. They are quite powerful but do not possess high health, however they are able to dash quickly, especially on foot. Taming an Agricos is hazardous, as they are prideful and difficult to please, but once their loyalty is gained, they become fiercely protective."

Ferorex[]

Ferorex Icon

"The Ferorex are a rare, desert dwelling wyvern known for their incredible ferocity. What truly sets the Ferorex apart from other dragons is their astonishing bite strength, which surpasses that of any other dragon. Despite the below average size of this species, they fearlessly engage in battles with dragons much larger than themselves. Their preferred method of dispatching prey is by crushing their victim's skulls with their powerful jaws. This wyvern also has a distinctive fatty tail, which is used to store essential nutrients, ensuring their survival during times of scarcity. Despite their violent nature in the wild, the Ferorex when tamed is described as laid back, and friendly, as long as they are well fed. Though their wild side will quickly return if their trainer is in danger."

Khepera[]

Khepera Icon

"Kheperas are fascinating, medium-sized dragons from the desert world. They are often seen making burrows in the soft desert sand, using their large horn as a shovel. Considering Kheperas have armor all along their body, these dragons have moderate defense with pretty decent health. They possess a surprisingly powerful bite, although their breath isn't as strong. Kheperas are usually friendly on first interaction, making them good companions."

Dunvolth[]

Dunvolth Icon

"Dunvolth, a well opportunistic predator, Ready to hunt its next meal at any moment. Food is extremely scarce in one of the most inhospitable places in Dragonaria, You never know when your next meal might be, so these terrifying beasts are just trying to survive. The deadly environment of desert has evolved just as hostile dragons, Dunvolth often cannibalize amongst them selves for self preservation. Nature can be ruthless and unforgivable, Only the strongest survive. These dragons lack good eye sight due to their hunting style, They use camo and ambushing under the dunes to attack. Their claws are said to be so strong they can pierce through any materials and armor. Perfect for digging under the sand or self defense."

Eggs[]

WorldDesertEgg

The Desert Egg can be found throughout the Desert world, however it can also be won from Time Trials, obtained from chests, or won from the Desert Boss.
