Fish Trader

The Fish Trader, also known as the Wandering Fish Trader, is a wandering NPC who buys fish at an increased sell price.

Every day at 7:00 PM EST, he will move his shop to a different world. During daylight saving time, he will move each day at 6:00 PM EST. In the World Teleporter menu, the Fish Trader's location is denoted by a fishing rod icon.

The Fish Trader buys each world's exclusive Common, Uncommon, and Rare fish. Only 300 fish of each rarity can be sold to the trader at once.

Locations

• The Fish Trader in Origins. He is located beside the lake near spawn.
• The Fish Trader in Grassland. He is located beside the lake near spawn.
• The Fish Trader in Jungle. He is located near the waterfall by a lake.
• The Fish Trader in Volcano. He is located near the minecart track.
• The Fish Trader in Tundra. He is located along the long dock.
• The Fish Trader in Ocean. He is located in the kelp forest.
• The Fish Trader in Desert. He is located near spawn.
• The Fish Trader in Fantasy. He is located near the forested lake.
• The Fish Trader in Wasteland. He is located along the central pool of waste.
• The Fish Trader in Prehistoric. He is located on the swamp island.

The Fish Trader can be located near a world's fishing zone and/or a body of liquid. His stand consists of a large, covered wagon with a giant fishing rod atop it, a wooden fishing sign, and several fish on display. A sign is also present beside the wagon with the world's fish on display that the Fish Trader will buy in that world.

The Fish Trader is currently located in Origins.

Trivia

• The Fish Trader was implemented on September 22nd, 2023, at 2:30 PM EST.
• The Fish Trader is the third interactive NPC to be released in Dragon Adventures, after the Wandering Trader and Farm Merchant respectively.
• At an unknown date (presumably sometime in November 2024), the ability to view the time left for when the Fish Trader moves was added to the Fish Trader icon in the World Teleporter menu.
