Countdown teaser
The Galaxy Event of 2022 is an event that began June 17th, 2022, at 4 PM EST, and ended July 8th, 2022.
On June 10th, 2022, a seven-day countdown and the remains of a spaceship were set up in between Alchemy and the Missions structure in Origins.
Event[]

Galaxy Event teaser
The 2022 Galaxy Event took place on Wasteland's moon and had many sci-fi-and-space-themed features. The event also released the Robodon and many space-themed accessories, buildables, and other items.
Alongside this were the new digging mechanics and Crystal Ore, which could be converted into Crystal Shards, the event's main currency. Players were able to obtain Lunar Toxic Eggs and convert them into Mecha Eggs, which were used to hatch the Robodon.
Part One[]
Part One of the event released June 17th, 2022, at 4 PM EST. The Robodon was introduced alongside the Galaxy World, as well as dozens of new galaxy-themed accessories, buildables, and other items.
Part Two[]
Part Two of the event released June 24th, 2022. Several new items and buildables were released, and additional caverns were added into the Galaxy World.
World[]

Galaxy World
The Galaxy World took place on Wasteland's moon, which featured no life and had little to no atmosphere. On the moon's dark-grey surface were small impact craters and what appeared to be purple solid pools of waste.
The largest crater featured the world's teleporter, stores, satellites, excavation machines, and its exclusive ore veins and Mecha Egg Converter.
Within some of the ore veins were vast caverns with green crystals, as well as the Super Converter, Speedy Incubators, and drill and mining equipment. Mining deeper down would result in more rugged caverns with purple crystals and pillar-like equipment that seemed to hold the caves up.
Various signs, lamps, and other various pieces of equipment decked the underground and surface of the world as well.
Badge & Title[]
If the player entered the Galaxy World they would be rewarded with the Cosmic Contender title and the Galaxy 2022 badge.
Mining[]
Mining played a big role in the 2022 Galaxy Event. Throughout the world were ore veins, which could be mined in order to obtain Crystal Ore and, within the shafts, sometimes Lunar Toxic Eggs.
Players could process their Crystal Ore at the Processing Plant, which could be turned into either Coal, Fossils, Stone, and more rarely, Crystal Shards, the event's main currency. Players could mine Crystal Ore by using their dragon's elemental breath.
Players were only able to see their individual mining progress.
Cave-Ins[]
Every 30 minutes, a cave-in would occur, and it would reset all mined Crystal Ore blocks in the world so they could be mined again. Players would be sent back to spawn, and a server announcement would state that, “There was a cave in! The caverns have filled back up!”
When a cave-in occured, Foreman's Radio would say:
- “Oh no! Looks like the cave is collapsing!”
Title[]
If the player processed a total of 10,000 Crystal Ore blocks, they would be rewarded with the Galactic Geologist title.
Accessory Store & Event Store[]
The two shops in the Galaxy World featured space-themed accessories, base buildables, potions, and more.
Both structures were near each other and the World Teleporter.

Exclusive Features[]
Currencies[]
The 2022 Galaxy Event had two currencies: Crystal Ore and Crystal Shards.
Crystal Ore could only be obtained by mining Crystal Ore blocks and by killing the Wasteland mobs that inhabited the caves.
Crystal Shards, or simply Shards, acted as the main currency in the 2022 Galaxy Event. Players were able to use their Crystal Shards to purchase accessories, builables, potions, and other exclusive items, as well as Lunar Toxic Eggs. Shards were also used to convert Lunar Toxic Eggs into Mecha Eggs.
Shards could be obtained by processing Crystal Ore and by fixing up the Processing Plant.
Amount | Price |
---|---|
300 Crystal Shards | 110 Robux |
600 Crystal Shards | 210 Robux |
1,000 Crystal Shards | 310 Robux |
1,500 Crystal Shards | 500 Robux |
Mecha Egg Converters[]
There were two Mecha Egg converters in the Galaxy World. The Mecha Egg Converter could be found on the surface of the world, whereas the Mecha Egg Super Converter could be found in the midst of the caverns.
Mining Drills & Equipment[]
Within the Galaxy Worlds' caverns were one mining drill and pieces of mining equipment, one which sped up mining speed, and the other which doubled Crystal Shard production.

Crystal Shard drill
The Crystal Shard drill could be located in the ore vein shaft closest to the Processing Plant. After tunneling down the first layer of ore, the player would have to mine the two ore veins behind the "DRILL EXCAVATION" signs. They would then have to mine to the left of the second ore vein in order to reach the drill.
The drill was operated on a small platform, with various pipes surrounding the small cave.
In order to fix it, the player must have aligned all five green lights with the target. If the player missed a target, they would have to completely redo any targets they completed.
If the player successfully matched all of the targets, they would get a Shard Processor boost for three minutes, which increased the Crystal Shard turnout rate by 50%.
The minigame could be done once every five minutes after the boost had worn off.

Mining Speed drill
The Mining Speed equipment could be located in the ore vein shaft closest to the Accessory Store. After tunneling down the first layer of ore, the player would have to mine to the left in order to reach the next cavern. Straight ahead was a large ore vein blocking the mining equipment.
The equipment was operated on a small platform, with various pipes surrounding the small cave.
In order to fix it, the player must have matched the patterns perfectly on the sensors, which would read either red, orange, green, blue, or purple. If the player incorrectly matched the patterns, they would have to redo the previous level.
If the player successfully passed all three levels, they would get a Mining Speed boost for five minutes.
The minigame could be done once every five minutes after the boost had worn off.Mobs[]
Within some of the Galaxy World's caves were Wasteland mobs. These mobs only dropped Crystal Ore.
Each mob dropped one piece of Crystal Ore.
NPCs[]
The Lost Traveller could be located in front of their broken spaceship in Origins.
Upon being interacted with, they would say:
- “Thank goodness you’re here! I’ve crashed and broken my rocket ship.”
- “Fragments of the ship have fallen all over your world - Origins, is that what you call it?”
- “The only way I can return home is if you help me to gather the ship fragments to rebuilt it!”
- “Go find all the ship fragments around town and come back here!”
If the player hadn't collected any or not all of the ship fragments, and interacted with the Lost Traveller, they would say:
- “You still need to find the remaining fragments for me.”
- “I can't repair the rocket until you do.”
After the player found all of the ship fragments and interacted with the Lost Traveller, they would say:
- “You’ve done it! Thanks for helping me repair my rocket ship!”
- “Will you come with me this time?”

Fatima the Foreman
Fatima the Foreman could be located in front of the World Teleporter in the Galaxy World.
Upon being interacted with, they would say:
- “Who are you supposed to be?”
- “Well, it doesn’t matter. Welcome to your first day of work here at Mine 459-BP.”
- “Take this radio so I can talk to you.
- “Find an ore vein and I'll guide you through the process of mining Fell Crystals.”
At this point, Fatima the Foreman would have become Foreman's Radio.
Once the player was within a certain distance of Crystal Ore, Foreman's Radio would say:
- “Good you found an ore deposit!”
- “Use your dragon fire and get drilling!”
Once the player had mined at least one block of Crystal Ore, they would say:
- “Thats the stuff! Crystal Ore.”
- “You’ll need to collect that in order to obtain Shards.”
- “Try mining for some more Crystal Ore.”
Once the player had mined a total of five Crystal Ore blocks, they would say:
- “I think thats enough Ore for now.”
- “Time to process it! Head over to the Processing Plant.”
Once the player reached the Processing Plant, they would say:
- “Put the Ore into the hopper and let the processor do its thing!”
- “Collect your processed ore at the other end of the conveyor belt.”
If the player collected their processed ore, Forman's Radio would say:
- “As you can see, you’ll get some useless items but sometimes you’ll get Fell Shards!”
- “The machine will need maintenance sometimes so make sure you keep it in tip top condition!”
- “My buddies underground will need an extra hand, so get down there and lets go make some money!”
If the player obtained a Lunar Toxic Egg through mining, Foreman's Radio would say:
- “Sometimes the rocks will contain one of these eggs.”
- “They aren’t worth anything to us, so you can keep those. We just want the Ore!”
The player woukd also now be able to purchase Lunar Toxic Eggs through the Event Store.
If the player found the Super Converter, Foreman's Radio would say:
- “This artifact was here when we discovered the crater.”
- “The others were experimenting by putting those useless eggs into it.”
- “Throw one in and see what happens!”
One Needy Engineer could be found at the drill, while the other one could be found at the mining equipment station.

Needy Enigneer
The mining drill engineer could be found standing to the right of the drill.
Upon being interacted with, they would say:
- “Gosh darn! I am going to be in serious trouble.”
- “The Mining Drill is completely broken, I need help fixing it.”
- “Align every light with its target position and it should fix the machine.”
- “When that mining drill works again, I'll give you a boost to your Shard Processor Chance.”
If the player successfully aligned all five lights, the Needy Engineer would say:
- “The Mining Drill is working again!”
- “Thanks for the help, take this Crystal Shard boost for helping me.”
The Shard Processor boost lasted for three minutes.
The minigame could be done once every five minutes after the boost had worn off.

Needy Enigneer
The mining equipment engineer could be found standing to the left of the equipment.
Upon being interacted with, they would say:
- “Hey there, want to help me out?”
- “I need help calibrating the sensor array.”
- “You need to match the patterns shown on the screens perfectly.”
- “If you help me out, I'll give you a Mining Speed boost!”
If the player successfully matched all three pattern sequences, the Needy Engineer would say:
- “The mining equipment is now operational!”
- “Take this Mining Speed boost for your trouble.”
The Mining Speed boost lasted for five minutes.
The minigame could be done once every five minutes after the boost had worn off.Processing Plant[]

Processing Plant
The Processing Plant was grey in color and had various parts to it. It could be found to the right of the World Teleporter.
The Processing Plant processed Crystal Ore into Coal, Fossils, Stone, and, more rarely, Crystal Shards. The player could process their Crystal Ore by putting it into the dropper and, if needed, fixing the Processing Plant up. Fixing the processing plant involved a wire connect game, and the player would be rewarded with one Crystal Shard on completion.
Once done, the Crystal Ore would be turned into any of the four items above. Crystal Shards, without the processor boost, had about a 25% turnout rate.
Speedy Incubators[]

Speedy Incubators
The Speedy Incubators were able to hatch eggs 25% faster and were located on top of the Mecha Egg Super Converter platform.
The Speedy Incubators were large and used the same model as the Alien Incubator.
Incubators could be purchased with Crystla Shards, with five in total.
Incubator | Price |
---|---|
1 | 50 Crystal Shards |
2 | 75 Crystal Shards |
3 | 100 Crystal Shards |
4 | 125 Crystal Shards |
5 | 150 Crystal Shards |
Event Dragons[]
There was only one event dragon to release, that being the Robodon. The Neroxide, Radidon, and the Venid were introduced as event-filler dragons in both the Lunar Toxic Egg and the Mecha Egg.
Event[]
Robodon[]

The Robodon has a very mechanical appearance consisting of segmented robotic parts and many Radidon characteristics. It has no visible eyes and has four limbs each attached with metallic wings. Rods dispense out of the back of its neck, back, and tail, and on its head is a jagged nasal crest and a larger jagged frill on the back of its head. At the end of its tail is a wide tail fan.
The Robodon has a 0.952% chance of hatching from a Mecha Egg.
The Robodon is unable to be hatched from the Lunar Toxic Egg.
Non-Event[]
Neroxide[]

The Neroxide is a grounded dragon, and it sports a lean body with large head frills. Its forelimbs are pincer-like and are barbed on the inside, while its back legs are short and bear minimal spikes. It has a long tail and a small sail along its back. Its lower jaws extend outward and are insect-like.
The Neroxide has a 66.7% chance of hatching from a Mecha Egg.
The Neroxide has a 63.6% chance of hatching from a Lunar Toxic Egg.
Radidon[]

The Radidon is a large, quadrupedal dragon that bears wings on its front and back legs. It has no visible eyes and bears a large head crest and dual jaws. Large vents cover its back, while rock-like plating decks its neck and belly. It has a long tail with a fan at its end, and its claws are large and curved.
The Radidon has a 3.81% chance of hatching from a Mecha Egg.
The Radidon has a 9.09% chance of hatching from a Lunar Toxic Egg.
Venid[]

The Venid has a small body frame with a very wasp-like appearance. It has six legs, with its first pair being help up. It las large antennae and a long spiky abdomen, as well as large insect-like wings.
The Venid has a 28.6% chance of hatching from a Mecha Egg.
The Venid has a 27.3% chance of hatching from a Lunar Toxic Egg.
Eggs[]
The 2022 Galaxy Event, unlike all other events, had two event-exclusive eggs.
The Lunar Toxic Egg could be obtained by mining Crystal Ore blocks that contained them. It could also be purchased with 50 Crystal Shards at the Event Store if the player had already mined at least one.
The Lunar Toxic Egg is black with green scales.
The Neroxide, Radidon, and the Venid are all able to be hatched from the Lunar Toxic Egg.
The Robodon will appear as [[LOCKED]] in the Lunar Toxic Egg, and it is only able to be hatched in the Mecha Egg.
Lunar Toxic Eggs take 30 minutes to hatch.

Mecha Egg teaser
The Mecha Egg could only be obtained by converting a Lunar Toxic Egg into a Mecha Egg at either of the Galaxy World's Mecha Egg converters.
The Mecha Egg is colored by two shades of grey and has lime-green-colored strips. The egg also bears small tubes on its surface.
The Neroxide, Radidon, Robodon, and the Venid are all able to be hatched from the Mecha Egg.
Mecha Eggs take 1 hour to hatch.Trivia[]
