Enemies[]
The three mobs in Grassland are the Boar, Falcon, and Owl. One additional variant called the Elite Boar is also present. Grassland mobs can be found in irregular, rocky patches that are accompanied with scattered bones on dirt.
Boars and Elite Boars will dig up the ground and launch rocks at players, Owls will attack the player by throwing rocks at them, and Falcons will fly towards the player and swoop at players' dragons.

The Grassland Boss entrance can be located on the far side of Grassland, surrounded by castle watchtowers. Players are awarded 1,000 Coins and 1,000 EXP for defeating it.
Appearance[]
The Grassland Boss has dark grey fur that line its greyish-beige head, neck, front legs, back, and tail. It has a dark grey face and back and tail markings, and a black shell that covers its main body. It has a single nose horn and two tusks, and a mellow-colored underside.
Fight[]
Stage 1 begins with the Grassland Boss targeting the player. It will bite the player 2 times before ramming them once. It will continue doing this until a third of its health bar has depleted.
Stage 2 begins with the Grassland Boss retreating to its platform. It will create a tan shield around itself that will prevent any damage to it. Four waves of four mobs each will begin dispensing out of each corner of the room. The second half of the boss's health bar will deplete each time a mob is killed.
Stage 3 reintroduces the Grassland Boss with a new freeze attack. Every third ram attack will freeze the player for 5 seconds. It will continue biting the player and ramming them as well until the last of its health has been depleted.

Dragons[]
The following dragon species are native to Grassland:
Tigrilia[]

"The elusive and agile Tigrilias are the kings of the Grasslands, using their black stripes to blend into the thick foliage. Often found wandering the hilly landscape in solidarity or, very rarely, bonded pairs with cubs. Despite not being the strongest of dragons in terms of health and defense, this species uses its small size, speed, and agility to take down its prey, making it a very successful hunter. They earn their name from their striking resemblance to one of the most lethal predators known to mankind, the tiger. These dragons have sharp, pearly teeth, scarred muzzles, and sharp shoulder and horn spikes designed to intimidate even the most dangerous of foes. These beasts may be unable to fly, but their ability to dominate and control the terrain is unparalleled. If brave enough to try, Tigrilias are perfect companions if one fancies a loyal companion on a hunting trip or a merciless ally against the various foes across the world."
Saurium[]

"The Saurium is a smaller dragon sighted in Grasslands, covered in feathers that can be found in a wide range of colors. Because of their size, this dragon possesses remarkable speed, darting through the skies with agility reminiscent of a swift breeze. While its attack capabilities are modest, Saurium's loyalty and friendly disposition makes it favorable to beginner dragon trainers. Sauriums form deep bonds with their humans and exhibit similar behavior to dogs, such as engaging in playful activities and eagerly aiding their humans with tasks. These factors make Sauriums cherished and joyful companions in the world of dragon training."
Eggs[]

The Grassland Egg can be found throughout the Grassland world, however it can also be won from Time Trials, obtained from chests, or won from the Grassland Boss.
The Grassland Egg has 20 known spawn locations. Nest locations can be found here.

Trivia[]
- Grassland was released alongside Origins, Jungle, and Volcano on August 11th, 2019, with Dragon Adventures' official release.
- By leaving the game before hatching the Tutorial Egg (thereby skipping the rest of the tutorial), Grassland would remain locked until the player manually hatched a Rocirus. This is no longer the case as of a tutorial update in late 2024.
- The first part of the Easter Event 2020 quest took place in Grassland.
- In Grassland's first rendition, there was a glowing red meteorite in the mountain near the world's boss plate. The meteorite was related to the Prehistoric World from a few weeks before the world was released.
- Grassland received a remodel on June 24th, 2021.[1]
- On December 1st, 2023, the world received some changes.[2]
- On December 31st, 2024, Grassland received new mobs.[3]
- Prior to an unknown date in late 2024, the player had to unlock Grassland by completing all of the Origins World Missions altogether at least once. This change was also made to Jungle, Volcano, and Tundra, which were made readily available to all new players.
- On March 21st, 2025, this change was reverted.[4]
