How to Grow Your Dragon[]

Growing your Dragons is a simple task in Dragon Adventures, it is shown how to the players when they first enter the game during the tutorial, this article is for new players who still may be confused about Growing Dragons.

You can grow your Dragons by following these steps

  1. Keep your Dragons fed! If your Dragon's hunger drops below 50 points, you will get a notification that your Dragon will no longer grow unless it's fed and kept above 50 Hunger Points.
  2. Avoid having your Dragons on low Health, this will give them the "Hurt" status, disallowing them to grow until healed.
  3. You have to equip your dragon for them to grow, a Dragon's age will not progress if they're not equipped.
  4. To keep your dragon growing, you'll be required to check on their profiles every so often once they reach the age milestones to click the "Grow" button, otherwise your dragon will be stuck at the same age until you grow them up.

How do I feed my Dragons?[]

Feeding Dragons is very simple, as there are currently 2 ways:

  1. The first way is to go to your dragon lair and go to the feed button. It will open up your inventory where you can select a Food, Healing Item or a Potion to give to them. Once selected, a profile of the selected Item will show up, displaying stats of the Item. To feed your Dragon, you need to click the "Feed" button displayed in green below those tabs.
  2. The second way is by standing near your equipped Dragon and pressing the "E" key to interact with your Dragon, once done, 5 different tabs will be displayed: "Ride", "Heal", "Customize", "Unequip" and "Feed" By clicking the "Feed" tab, which is displayed by an icon of an Apple, will bring you to your Inventory, where you can select a food in the Food or Potions tab, you can then Feed your Dragon similar to how you do it in the first way.

NOTE: The ride tab will only appear if your Dragon is an Adult or an Elder, you will have to grow the Dragon to either of these age stages to be able to ride it.

What else should I know?[]

There are a few things you should know while growing your Dragons:

What to Feed your Dragons[]

  • Different Foods serve different Amounts of Hunger Points. For example, Pumpkins can fill the Dragon's Hunger Bar by 7 Points, but Apples can only fill the Hunger Bar by 1 Point
  • Different Food items will add different amounts of EXP points to your Dragons' Levels. To check how much EXP Points a Food Item gives, you can click the "Inventory" button, which is displayed on the side of your screen and go to the "Food" tab, then hover your cursor over the Item you want to check or by tabbing it.
    • It is worth noting that Foods that grants more EXP often grants more Hunger Points than those granting lower EXP points
  • If your Dragon has a full Hunger Bar, you cannot feed it any further, you can only feed your Dragons if their Hunger Points are below 100. Healing your Dragons when they're fainted or hurt does not appl

A Dragon's Hunger and Growth Stats[]

  • A Baby Dragon starts at Age 0, it will grow to the Juvenile Stage at Age 33, Adult Stage Age 66 and finally Elder Stage at Age 99. Elder is the oldest Stage a Dragon can reach, but the Dragon will still continue to lose Hunger Points when Equipped.
  • Each Dragon Species will have a different scale of Hunger Loss, which is the amount of Hunger Points they lose every once in a while. To see their Hunger Loss Scale, you can hover over the Hunger Icon in your Dragon's profile which can be found in your Lair when you access a Dragon's Profile
  • Each Dragon Species will also have a different Growth Time, which is the amount of time a Dragon takes to fully grow to Elder. To check, you can hover over the Age Icon in your Dragon's profile found in your Lair when you click on a Dragon.
  • Wild Dragons can grow faster than Tamed Dragons with a 20% Growth Boost status.
    • Personalities can affect a Dragon's Hunger Loss Scaling by either increasing or decreasing their Hunger Loss.
  • A Dragon's Growth Time Can be skipped using a Growth Potion, allowing them to be grown to the Elder age immediately.
