The Halloween Event 2021 was an event that released on October 23rd, at 12 PM EST, and ended on November 9th.
A countdown, a darkened sky, and Halloween decorations were placed around Origins and the Undercity for the upcoming event eight days before its release.
Event[]
The event introduced a new dragon, the Scrawei, which was the winning concept of Sonar Studio's Halloween art contest. The Skelltor, Paukiki, and the Dysuva were also reintroduced during the event, as well as an improved trick or treating mechanic that was from the previous 2020 Halloween Event.
World[]
The 2021 Halloween World, or Spooksville, is a large central floating island with smaller islands on its outskirts. Green and orange pine trees of varying sizes (including large-sized dead trees) cover the world and its islands. Houses also dot the center island's surface, which can be used for Trick-or-Treating.
To the left of the world teleporter is the Halloween Spinner Wheel, and in the front of the center island is the Time Trials location. The second largest island is connected with a bridge to the center island, and is home to the Vampire Bat Boss battle room.

Halloween Accessories[]
Some of the old Halloween-themed accessories had returned, along with some new ones which were introduced. A Paukiki and Dysuva-themed pail, and the Dysuva Beanie were the newly added accessories.
Halloween Boss[]
The 2021 Halloween Event had a special event boss mob with its very own boss room. The boss room could be found in a large abandoned house, which opened up every ten minutes.
Up to four players could party up to defeat the boss. The player could toggle who was allowed to join them if they created a party. The player was allowed only one dragon to fight the boss in a duration of six minutes, and had three lives.
Boss Battle[]
The Vampire Bat Boss had three stages.
- The first stage required the player to damage the Vampire Bat Boss enough before it moved onto its second stage. It was able to jump up to hit the player's dragon, and was also able to attack on the ground like most other boss mobs.
- In the second stage, the player was unable to hit the boss, and must have killed nine spider mobs in order for the Vampire Bat's shield to break. The spiders came in series’ of three and spawned from dark clouds. During this time, the Vampire Bat was unable to hit the player. Once all nine spider mobs had been killed, the player could progress onto the third stage.
- The third stage was similar to the first stage, except the Vampire Bat had a special attack. Its special web attack would freeze the player and their dragon for five seconds, rendering the player and dragon unable to attack.
Prizes[]
Once the boss was killed, the player was able to choose between three chests: Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby.

Halloween Fishing[]
Players could fish in Spooksville in a large purple lake on the outskirts of the largest island.

Halloween Potions[]
New Halloween potions had been shared by the developers on the Dragon Adventures Discord, with one said to introduce a new color. However, the new color, Synthesizer, was released prior to the event.
The new potions introduced were the Pumpkin Preset Potion, Synthesizer Preset Potion, Gargoyle Theme Potion, Ghost Theme Potion, and the Ghost Element Potion.
Halloween Wheel[]
The world contained a Halloween Spinner Wheel. The known prizes so far are:

The world also contained a special event shop. The player could exchange their earned Candy for various various items such as Haunted Eggs, potions, presets, and base decorations. Candy could also be used in the event's Accessory Shop, "Undead Outfitters".

Time Trials[]
Time trials were races which required the player to fly through rings. There were four of them that all had the same starting place. They could be located in the front of the main island in Spooksville between some houses.
These races were similar to the races in Accessory Island and the previous Halloween Event. Winning the race resulted in Halloween Event items.

Trick or Treating[]
Trick or treating had been improved and revamped with new features. When the player knocked on a door, a memory card game would be initiated, where the player would view pairs of cards for a short amount of time and have to memorize them. When the cards were flipped over the player must have selected the card pairs they remembered. The player would receive Candy upon completing the minigame, but would earn nothing if they failed. Houses could be trick or treated at every twenty minutes.
Dragons[]
The 2021 Halloween Event introduced a new Halloween Event dragon, the Scrawei.
Additional insight provided on the event dragons by Domeboybeene.
On October 3rd, one of the developers, Domeboybeene, answered some questions that players had. With these answers, more information about the Halloween Event was revealed.
"How will the Scrawei be obtained?"
"Right now the plan is to have eggs spawning in the Halloween world much like the old 2020 events with the Scrawei being a rare drop chance. The Skelltor and the Paukiki will also be part of this. We *may* be doing something special for the Dysuva, but we are still discussing that internally. For now, assume it'll also be in the egg drops."
"Halloween will be a relatively simple event mechanic-wise with eggs spawning and you collecting them, as well as a mini-game race and our tease for the new boss fighting system (that will eventually be in all worlds)."
Skelltor[]
The Skelltor is a large-sized quadrupedal skeleton dragon, with spikes going along its neck, back, and on the sides of its tail. It has two large horns, a pair of massive wings, and glowing orbs and matter for eyes and inside its ribcage.
The Skelltor and the Paukiki are obtainable as a more common dragon from the 2021 Halloween Egg.
The Skelltor's hatch rate is 56.1%
Paukiki[]
The Paukiki has four arms, a pair of wings, and two legs, and its head is reminiscent of that of a pumpkin. Spines run along its neck, arms, legs, and the base of its tail. Long-lengthed horns with leaf-like protrusions also come out on each side of its head. These branch-like features are also present on its shoulders and its tail.
The Paukiki and the Skelltor are obtainable as a more common dragon from the 2021 Halloween Egg.
The Paukiki's hatch rate is 39.8%.
Dysuva[]
The Dysuva has a very bat-like appearance, with six wings and two legs. It has a long tail and a broad build with two ears and a neck that appears mane-like.
The method of obtaining the Dysuva dragon may or may not be unique. However, if it is not unique, it will likely be rarer than both the Skelltor and the Paukiki, but not as rare as the Scrawei.
The Dysuva's hatch rate is 3.06%
Scrawei[]
The Scrawei is the 2021 Halloween Event's dragon, taking the appearance of a scarecrow with a long broomstick tail, a hat, stick-like legs, and a neck covered and made out of straw.
It is the rarest dragon from the 2021 Halloween Egg.
The Scrawei's hatch rate is 1.02%
Eggs[]
Haunted Egg
The Haunted Egg shares the same appearance as the Spooky Egg, except it is purple and emits small pumpkins.
The Haunted Egg spawned around the world every seven to ten minutes (in both public and private servers), much like the eggs in the 2021 Easter Event. Unlike most other spawned eggs however, it spawned on top a small grave.

Additionally, the Haunted Egg could also be won from the Halloween Spinner Wheel, bought with 2,000 Candy, possibly rewarded upon completing a Time Trial race, or a possible reward from killing the Vampire Bat boss.
It takes one hour for the Haunted Egg to hatch.

- The event was meant to end on the 6th of November, but due to Roblox having a three-day outage the event was extended until the 9th.
- This was Dragon Adventures' third Halloween Event.
