The Mansion Hall also debuted with the Paranox boss and received lyrical music composed and sung by Gialite, titled "Phantom King." In addition, the Balefire Crystal was given an event-like feature and the Djaevelhest Balefire event missions began.[2][3]
On October 24th, Dragon Adventures partook in Roblox's The Haunt event. Players may only submit one screenshot for each category per day, which could be easily taken with the bat camera icon. Once taken, the player may choose to submit the screenshot or not.

It added a Special tab to the Event Shop where players are able to exchange Balefire Eggs for exclusive items, including the new Ghoul Material Potion, Haunted Doll Theme Potion, Undead Theme Potion, and the Gargoyle Hatch Party Incubator. The Bone Potion also became purchasable, and the Halloween Village Theme plot returned.[4]

Week Four began November 1st, at 5:00 PM EST. The new Castle Garden Theme plot was added alongside twelve new accessories, including Werewolf Ears and its Black, Brown, and White variants, the Skull Mask and its Bone and Carbon variants, Demon Wings with Crimson, Dark, and Ghoul variants, and four Pooki hat accessories with Dark, Friendly, Ghastly, and Green variants.[6][7]
World[]

Spooky Castle
The Spooky Castle world from previous Halloween events gained an additional floating island region made up of spires, twisting paths, and a giant crystal. The main island was made up of several smaller ones breaking off from it. It featured orange and green pine trees, large dead trees, and several pumpkins and mushrooms. A small pond and a single river also appeared on the main island's surface.

Floating islands
A giant, medieval castle rested at the center of the world, with tall walls separating it from the ground. A stone bridge led the World Teleporter to the entrance of the open castle, which held the event's stores. Trick-or-Treat doors were present on the inside of the castle and candelabras and pennant banners decorate the exteriors. To the right of the entrance was a long, open hall that leads to the Halloween Wheel and some additional buildings.
Underneath the castle were caverns filled with Manta Ray mobs. Large webs, loose stones, candelabras, and floating candles were also located inside the caves and coffins could be located on some of the walls.
The new floating island region was guarded by many kinds of mobs, including three elite types.
Haunted[]

Haunted weather icon
Haunted was a weather effect that occurred every ~30 minutes in the Spooky Castle world. It gave the world a foggy, blue hue and lasted ~15 seconds. Two Ghost Elementals would spawn behind or around the player if they were above the world's surface and not in the main event area. These mobs did not drop any EXP or items upon death, and any Ghost Elementals spawned from the Haunted weather would despawn when it was over.
Badge & Title[]
If the player entered the Spooky Castle world, they would be rewarded with the Devilish Delver title and the Halloween 2024 badge.
Currency[]

Candy
Candy acted as the Halloween Event 2024's currency. Players could use Candy to purchase items at the Accessory Store and the Event Shop or use it to spawn eggs at Egg Tombs.
Players were able to obtain Candy by participating in the Ghost Catcher or Pumpkin Smasher events, smashing pumpkins, trick-or-treating, killing mobs, fishing, or from opening event chests. Additionally, it could be obtained by speaking to Pooki in the Spooky Castle world for the first time.
Candy could also be purchased with Robux from the Premium Shop.

Pooki[]

Pooki
Pooki is an NPC that acted as the tutorial instructor.
Players were directed to speak to Pooki near the World Teleporter. Upon being interacted with, they would say the following:
- “Ah, at last! You've returned! Welcome to the haunted Halloween Castle!”
- “Behold, within these ancient walls lurk horrors beyond imagining, twisted and wild!”
- “The mysteries here are endless… if you dare to explore these shadowed halls, of course!”
- “And everywhere you look, opportunities await to gather Halloween Candy...”
Pooki would then give the player 100 Candy for speaking to them for the first time, and a Halloween Event tips interface would show up on the player's screen.

Egg Tombs[]

An Egg Tomb
Several Egg Tombs were present around the world that players could use to spawn Possessed Eggs or Balefire Eggs for Candy.
If the player purchased an egg, ghosts would fly out of the tomb and fly off with it. The player would have to catch the egg by flying into the ghost carrying it. Players were unable to steal others' eggs. If the player exited the game, their spawned egg(s) would stay.

Trick-or-Treating[]

Trick-or-Treat doors
Trick-or-Treating allowed players to gain Candy from highlighted doors and with other players.
In order to Trick-or-Treat at a door, the player must have played a memory game and successfully match 3-5 pairs of cards to gain Candy. To Trick-or-Treat with other players, the player could interact with another user and click the Trick-or-Treat icon that came up. If the other user did not click the Candy icon within 20 seconds, the request would be declined.
A successful Trick-or-Treat with another user would display bat, confetti, or ghost effects, celebratory music, a haunted laugh, ominous music, or an "Ooooh" sound effect, or either a pumpkin, skull, or vampire mask put on either player's avatar for a few seconds.
Trick-or-Treating at doors had a 20-minute cooldown. Trick-or-Treating with players had a 5-minute cooldown for each player that is Trick-or-Treated with.

Pumpkins[]

A pumpkin
Pumpkins could be found scattered throughout the Spooky Castle world. They spawned more frequently during Pumpkin Smasher and functioned exactly the same as the pumpkins in Origins; they had 500 health and could be damaged with dragon elemental breath. Each hit dealt 167 damage to the pumpkin, and only players who had damaged a pumpkin at least once would be entitled to its rewards.
Players could also dash into pumpkins to instantly smash them.

Chests[]

A Halloween Chest
A total of 15 Halloween chests were present in the Spooky Castle world per day. They were colored green with a dark grey frame, had 20 health, and dropped 1-2 amounts containing between 5-50 Candy each. The Halloween chests are also known to be able to have dropped a Possessed Egg or a Halloween Spin Token.
Known Locations[]
Mobs[]
Three kinds of mobs could be located around the Spooky Castle world.
Each mob was set to Level 5 with 100 health (with the exception of the Ghost Elemental, which was Level 7 with 150 health) and dropped 2-4 Candy, 3 Ashes, and 50 EXP when killed. Each mob also dealt damage that was equal to 5% of the equipped dragon's health. Manta Rays and Stone Gargoyles took 15 damage per hit and Ghost Elementals took 23 damage per hit.
- The Ghost Elemental was the most common, attacking with magic ranged attacks. They spawned throughout the world but did not spawn underneath the castle.
- The Manta Ray spawned only underneath the castle. They attacked the player with their tail by flying towards them.
- The Stone Gargoyle spawned in the floating castle region. They attacked the player by flying to them and biting them.
Elite Mobs[]
Elite mobs were stronger than their regular counterparts and only spawned in the floating island castle region. Each one spawned every 5 minutes, with a 1-minute countdown put in place before they spawned. They could be located by the icon of a red dragon head with scratch marks and did not stray far from their respective platforms.
There were three elite mobs: the Elite Ghost Elemental, the Elite Manta Ray, and the Elite Stone Gargoyle.
The elite Manta Ray and Stone Gargoyle had 1,000 health each and the elite Ghost Elemental had 1,500 health. All three mobs dealt damage that was equal to 10% of the equipped dragon's health. The elite Manta Ray and Stone Gargoyle took 15 damage per successful hit, while the Elite Ghost Elemental took 23 damage per hit. All three elite mobs dropped loot different from their regular counterparts, and they were guaranteed to drop ~20-50 Candy and may have also dropped a Possessed Egg.
Fishing[]
The Spooky Castle featured several fishing zones throughout its main island. A river and two ponds could be located around the world, with one pond being situated within the castle's walls.
Players could fish from bodies of water much like in regular worlds.

Balefire Crystal[]

Balefire Crystal
The Balefire Crystal made its proper release in Week Two of the event and could be located in the midst of the floating castle region.
Every 30 minutes, players were able to harvest deposits on the crystal with dragon damage. The following announcement was made in chat when the event begins:
- [HALLOWEEN EVENT]: Balefire Crystal Deposits have appeared!
Each deposit had 6,000 health and dropped 10-20 Candy when harvested. When all 10 of the deposits were cleared, 100 Balefire Shards would be dispersed all around the world for players to harvest for Candy and egg rewards.[8] When a shard was harvested, the player may have received 1-2 amounts of the same item or two different items. The following announcement would also be made in chat when the shards began to spawn:
- [HALLOWEEN EVENT]: Balefire Shards have started raining!
The player may have obtained 10-30 Candy, 1 Balefire Egg, or 1 Possessed Egg from a Balefire Shard.
Random Events[]
Random Events occurred naturally every 15 minutes or could be manually started for 99 Robux through the Halloween Premium Shop. Each event lasted 4 minutes.
Players who did not earn any points for a random event would be awarded nothing. Note that egg rewards were not guaranteed.
Ghost Catcher was one of two random events.
All players in the server had 4 minutes to catch as many ghosts as they could. Ghosts would follow one of several organized paths, and each ghost caught would count as one point. Ghosts would either fly around the main castle or around the floating islands.

The Mansion Hall[]
The Mansion Hall opened up in Week Two of the event and could be accessed for a price of 250 Candy. It could be located in front of the Event Shop in the small courtyard in front of the Merge Lab entrance. The Mansion Hall door may have been entered once access to the hall had been bought and was located underground the castle.

The Mansion Hall teleport
When The Mansion Hall was unlocked, the following server message would be sent:
- “An ancient fury awakens...”
Entering the queue ring would initiate a 1-minute countdown, allowing multiple players to be able to fight the Paranox boss. The following server announcement would also be made:
- [Server]: The Boss queue has started!
Once the countdown was over, the door behind would close and all participating players would be teleported to a massive hall, where the following server announcement would be made:
- [Server]: The Boss fight has started!

The Paranox boss
The hall was long and massive, with windows along the walls, both boarded up and un-boarded. Red curtains accompanied each window alongside tall candlesticks, carved pumpkins, scattered books and papers, and coffins. Between each window was a torn red tapestry. At one end of the hall was the entrance door, with a famous painting situated on each of its sides. At the other end was a giant, ominous red portal with black blobs of slime with eyes in it and around it.
Rounds[]
During round one, the Paranox boss would reveal itself after coming out of the large chamber door. It was unable to be damaged when it first uncloaked itself, however after this introductory phase, the player would be able to attack it. Each time the Paranox uncloaked itself, it would create an AoE (area of effect) sphere targeting the position of players that would either be blue or red fire, with the former being more common and less deadly.
The Paranox would breath out a ball of fire that would travel to the AoE attack(s) before bursting, in total taking about 5 seconds. The balls of fire were capable of dealing damage before reaching its designated AoE attack area if the fire passed through the player's dragon.
Blue fire took away 10% of the dragon's health and was marked by a single exclamation mark, whereas red fire took away 25% of the dragon's health and was marked by three exclamation marks. The Paranox would disappear after 3 seconds once it showed itself before sinking into the ground and reappearing somewhere else in the hall, even if it was not attacked.
When the first third of the Paranox's health bar was cleared, round two would begin.

The Paranox boss's copies
During round two, the Paranox would create ~five cloaked copies of itself around the hall. Once they all uncloaked, the true Paranox would be revealed by momentarily having a red ghost aura. Each Paranox would breathe fire and create an AOE attack 1-second after another. If the player attacked a copy of the Paranox, it would "Poof" and disappear. If the true Paranox was hit, all of the Paranox copies would disappear, and any AoE attacks that were not created would be dissolved. After around ten seconds, whether the player had found and attacked the true Paranox or not, the Paranox(es) would sink into the ground and replay the process over again.
When the second third of the Paranox's health bar was cleared, round three would begin.
Round three would begin with a short pause after the previously defeated Paranox sank into the ground. It would appear cloaked at the portal end of the hall (except for if the Paranox was already in front of the portal at the time its second phase ended, then it would appear at the door end) and waves of tall red and blue flames would make their way to the opposite end of the hall. The first wave of red fire would disappear a short distance away from the opposite end, however the rest of the fire waves would not stop until the player attacked the Paranox and would need to be maneuvered around.
The player would have around 10 seconds to damage the Paranox before it teleported back to the other end and repeated the process.
If the player was successful in killing the Paranox boss, it would drop down onto its side and the boss fight would end. The player was guaranteed to be rewarded one Balefire Egg and an additional reward that may have been any of the following:
- 1 Balefire Egg
- 1 Bone Potion
- ~150-500 Candy
- 1 Mutation Potion
- 1 Vampire Potion
Title[]
If the player successfully defeated the Paranox boss 10 times, they would be rewarded with the Paranox Punisher title.
Event Dragons[]
The Halloween Event 2024 released two new event dragons and returned seven event dragons:
Araneaix[]

"Araneaix are nocturnal, carnivorous wyverns. During the day, they spend most of their time sleeping or maintaining their lairs. Which are usually found in caves and other dark, damp spaces. These wyverns are incredibly dangerous, with vicious teeth and venomous fangs. It is said to be able to kill even large dragons with a single bite. Despite this, many trainers adore this dragon for their curious personalities, and unique appearance. As dangerous as they can be, they will avoid attacking people unless provoked."
The Araneaix was released in Week One of the event.
Djaevelhest[]

"As Halloween night approaches once more, when the barrier between the realms of the living and the dead grows thin, the moon glows purple and rises high in the sky: hoof beats echo through the midnight air, and the flames of a mysterious and evil dragon flicker through the mist on the horizon. It's the Djaevelhest, the twisted spawn of a cursed stallion and a dragon bound by an infernal pact. Its body was a fusion of terrible power: the head of a malevolent creature with fiery eyes, and the skeletal frame of a warhorse, draped in shredded cloths, and fiery wings with sharp claws that stretched across the sky like a shroud of doom. Furthermore, it could summon legions of its peers with a mere shriek and quickly demolish any dragon in its path using its powerful fire breath and sharp teeth. Wherever it set foot, the ground cracked, and hellish flames erupted from the ground. Hundreds of these demonic dragons would then rise from the ground and spread disasters as they swarm the skies, and the very essence of life seemed to drain away."
The Djaevelhest was released in Week Two of the event.
Dratheros[]

"Dratheros, a fearsome, frightening dragon, roams abandoned castles and graveyards. This species, donning a ghastly knight-like appearance, often guards graves and chambers that may contain high-value items. Unfortunate tamers who get too curious barely survive a confrontation, unaware that the large pile of scattered limbs was not truly dead. Luckily for the few who survive, they hopefully have the heart to warn others. Researchers who study Dratheros believe it to be a distant relative of the Skelltor, though more research is needed."
The Dratheros was released in Week One of the event.
Dysuva[]

"During every Halloween event, Dysuva crawl out of hibernation to lurk through the caves and corridors of Dragonaria. Only coming out at night, this species of dragon of prefer to stay hidden in the shadows. Therefore making them a rather rare sight to see. Using their strong tail, Dysuva can hang upside down to rest through out the daylight hours. Approaching these dragons while asleep is not recommended; due to the long frills on top of their ears they can hear sounds and sense movements from far away. While being friendly, it is easy to startle them. These dragons will use their large fangs to deal heavy amounts of damage if provoked."
The Dysuva was released in Week Two of the event.
Goliatomb[]

"The Goliatomb is a large dragon forged from abandoned cemeteries, littered with tombstones and accompanied by souls that lost their way to the afterlife. Goliatombs are quite an intimidating sight to behold. Housed by restless spirits, this dragon does not take kindly to those unlucky enough to stumble upon its grounds. This monstrous dragon is typically aggressive and will not hesitate to demonstrate its power on anything it deems a threat. Thus, Goliatombs are enormously difficult to tame. As reflected by their massive size, they are rather hefty and sport a tough resilience and a powerful bite to boot."
The Goliatomb was released in Week One of the event.
Paranox[]

"Only the bravest of trainers dare to tame these terrifying and mischievous spirits. The ghostly Paranox only appears during the night of Halloween, and even then, it's a rare sight. They mostly lurk around places where a lot of tragedy has taken place in the past. If spotted outside of one of these areas, they're seen as a very bad omen. Very intelligent and mean-spirited by nature, Paranoxes love to play pranks on any unsuspecting target, including their own trainers, who have to deal with their antics. While most of their physical capabilities are very average, their unique physiology makes up for it. Paranoxes are capable of phasing through objects at will and becoming completely invisible. The origins of this dragon are still shrouded in mystery, but due to some recent revelations, a connection has been found between the ancient, long-extinct species known as 'Empesta' and Paranox, as their skeletal structures and features share an uncanny resemblance."
The Paranox was released in Week Two of the event.
Paukiki[]

"Paukikis are known to be vicious predators from the Halloween World. It's said these dragons become less aggressive during the time around the fall season. They are fairly common, as they possess the ability to adapt and live in any environment. Despite their medium size, they are quite agile. In combat, Paukiki use their speed to dodge attacks and use their powerful breath attacks to do decent damage. Sometimes, in cases of danger, they'll rustle their leaves and vines to create a loud and distinct rustling sound that alerts other Paukikis. Having such a friend on your side may be quite beneficial, as they will provide you with great protection."
The Paukiki was released in Week One of the event.
Scrawei[]

"The Scrawei, a Halloween tradition given life, is often regarded as a symbol of bountiful harvest and joy. These incredibly elusive dragons are overwhelmingly optimistic by nature, often being playful and deeply loyal to their trainers. Derived from an ancient epic poem, these cheerful dragons are often described as being a handful, often getting into antics and causing troubling mischief. They may also be described as a little clumsy, showing quite a lack of self-awareness. Despite the trouble they may cause, the Scrawei's greatest strength is its sociability, as they're average in terms of speed, strength, and overall ability. These dragons make great companions, being incredibly protective, gentle, and playful overall."
The Scrawei was released in Week One of the event.
Skelltor[]

"These undead beasts are most commonly seen when Halloween draws near. In the wild, their temperament has been observed as rather erratical, but when tamed they become more passive and docile. Their sturdy structure helps them withstand great fights, and their powerful jaws can deal quite a devastating blow to enemies. Although their origin remains unknown, there have been a few rumours that they may have once been an ancient ancestor to the Numine."
The Skelltor was released in Week One of the event.
