My Dragons icon

The Lair, also known as My Dragons, is a feature that acts as an inventory that holds all of the player's dragons.

The My Dragons tab can be found on the right of the player's screen on PC and below the minimap on mobile. On PC, users can also access it via the 1 hotkey.

Dragon Selection[]

Lair

An example of the Lair

Upon clicking My Dragons, the player will be brought to their Lair, which will display all of their currently owned dragons and a few of their respective traits in a three-column grid. Dragons stored in the Stables will not show up in the user's lair.

On the left, all of the player's dragons will be displayed. On the right, an empty box with text reading "Select a dragon!" will be displayed. This message will only show up if the player has not yet selected a dragon.

When a dragon is clicked on, all of its info will be displayed on one of three tabs. Each tab will show a mugshot of the dragon, its name, and its species.

Main[]

Lair Selection Main

Main tab

The main tab () will display the basic stats and traits of the selected dragon. In the upper right, its health and hunger bars will be displayed.

The ability to favorite or un-favorite the dragon will be displayed on the bottom right of its mugshot. If the dragon is a Legacy version of its species, a blue arrow () will be pictured on the top right of its mugshot (or on the bottom left if it is unselected). If the player hovers over the dragon's mugshot, the concept creator(s) of the dragon will be listed.

The dragon's colors and materials are pictured beside its mugshot under their respective labels (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary). If the dragon has Legendary color, the corresponding color slot will show the color shift instead. Below the mugshot lies the dragon's age, gender, and level.

In the lower center of the card, the following traits will be displayed, from left to right.

  • Element and pupil (hovering over the element icon will display what element and pupil the dragon has).
  • Personality or mood (hovering over the personality/mood icon will display what the dragon has, any buffs or debuffs afflicted from the personality, and a short tip).
  • Breedability or Soul Bound status (if the dragon is on a breeding cooldown, the breeding icon will be greyed out).
  • Mutations (a number from 1-5 will denote how many mutations the dragon has. If the dragon has no mutations, the icon will be greyed out).
  • Heritage (hovering over the heritage icon will display the dragon's birthday, its original owner's username, and its generation).

At the bottom of the card are an additional four options that will each bring up a menu.

  • Equip or Unequip
  • Feed or Revive (only if the dragon has fainted)
  • Breed or Bond (only if the dragon is in a mood)
  • Customize (only selectable if the dragon is equipped, otherwise it will be greyed out)

Equipping[]

The player can also unequip their dragon by selecting the Unequip button that comes up when the player interacts with a dragon on PC or mobile. Additionally, dragons that are equipped will have a icon on the top right of their mugshot in the selection menu.

A player may only equip one dragon at a time. If the user owns the VIP gampass, they will be able to equip up to three dragons. If the player is an owner of a Roblox private server, they can equip up to five dragons in that server.

Statistics[]

Lair Selection Statistics

Statistics tab

The statistics tab () appears the same as the main tab, however the dragon's colors and materials section will be replaced by a scroll menu listing the dragon's exact age and growth time, EXP., and stats.

Any stats affected by a personality or genetic trait will display a blue (if positive) or red (if negative) number stat on the right. If the player hovers over the stat, it will display the buff or debuff's origin.

Traits[]

Lair Selection Traits

Traits tab

The traits tab () displays the dragon's mugshot, name, and species at the top right. Below the species text will be the dragon's cosmetic trait, if any. Cosmetic traits cannot currently be removed once a dragon attains one.

Below the cosmetic trait section lies two rows listing the dragon's positive genetic traits on the left and negative genetic traits on the right. A dragon can have up to four positive traits and two negative traits, and each trait can go up to tier 10. If the player hovers over any traits listed, a short tip will be displayed.

Controls[]

In addition to being able to select dragons and view their relevant information, the Lair has a few other controls:

Favoriting[]

The player can favorite or un-favorite a dragon by clicking on the gold star icon on the dragon's mugshot.

If a dragon is favorited, it will always be shown at the top left of the Lair and will be unable to be auctioned, deleted, or Traded. There is no limit on how many dragons the player can favorite.

Deleting[]

The player can delete any non-favorited dragon in their Lair by selecting a dragon and then by clicking the delete button.

Once a dragon is deleted, it will not be able to be retrieved.

Searching[]

The player can search for any of their dragons by using the search bar that reads "Enter keyword." This feature will only search for dragons by their name or species.

Sorting[]

The player is able to sort through their dragons by any of the four filters: Name, gender, level, or species.

  • The name filter is selected by default, and it will display all of the player's dragons' names from A-Z.
  • The gender filter will display all male dragons before female dragons.
  • The level filter will display all of the player's dragons from highest to lowest (level 20-level 1).
  • The species filter will display all of the player's dragons' species names from A-Z.

Favorited dragons will always be displayed at the top left of the Lair, regardless of the filter.

Lair Capacity[]

Slot Upgrade

Lair capacity upgrade pop-up

Each player is able to have a max of 5 dragons when they first begin playing. The player can upgrade their dragon capacity by five slots using coins. Lair upgrades cost more each time they are purchased.

The player is able to see how many dragons they have at the top of their Lair menu and may hold up to 200 dragons in their lair at a time.
