The Lunar New Year Event of 2025 was a mini-event that began January 24th, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, and ended February 7th, at 4:00 PM EST.
Event[]

Lunar New Year Event
The Lunar New Year Event 2025 returned the small village and dragon NPCs from the previous event and the Fulong, Hongliang, and the Yueshi dragons. In addition, the new Fireworks Bundle tool item was added for players to set off via dragon elemental breath to obtain Imbued Fireworks Eggs.
The event was divided into three quests, each containing an exclusive egg reward with special cosmetic trait(s). When the Year of the Snake quest was completed, the player would be able to access the Daily Rewards and exchange Imbued Fireworks Eggs for prizes. The limited Fortune Pack bundle was also put on sale until January 26th, 4:00 PM EST and contained the exclusive Platinum Theme Potion and Golden Shimmer Trait Potion. The past Lunar New Year event accessories and base buildings returned as well.
When the Fortune Pack went off sale, the limited Lunar New Year Pack bundle went on sale. On January 31st, at 4:05 PM EST, the limited Fortune Pack II went on sale, containing the new Incubator Token and Season Tier Skip Token. The Lunar Legacy quest was also added.
Event Shop[]

Event Shop
The Event Shop could be located to the right of Shan and was run by a Yueshi NPC named Huanglong. It consisted of a small, decorated Chinese pagoda complete with three small tables under it. Some of the tables had what appeared to be ceramics atop them. The Painter's Easel building was present behind Huanglong.
The Event Shop was also located in all other worlds (excluding the Undercity) and each one was run by a different Yueshi NPC. These event shops allowed the player to deliver Imbued Fireworks Eggs to display firework shows that would lure the Fulong NPC.
Quests[]
The event features three limited quests: the Year of the Snake, In Search of Fortune, and Lunar Legacy.
The Year of the Snake quest was made up of 2 chapters with 9 objectives in total. This quest could only be done once.
Chapter 1 - Quest for Fire[]
"The Yueshi have arrived to Dragonaria! They are putting on a large fireworks display, and I should talk to Shan to see how I can get involved."
The player would be first instructed to speak to Shan, a Yueshi NPC. They would say the following when interacted with:
- "Hello Adventurer! We could use your help to summon the Fulong."
- "We are throwing a grand fireworks show to draw its attention to use!"
- "Would you like to help? We need imbued fireworks eggs to make a truly massive fireworks display."
- "Get started by purchasing Fireworks Bundles. Use the fireworks on the nests to imbue the eggs with explosive potential!"
When a nest was imbued, it would turn red and contain one Imbued Fireworks Egg. While rarer, two Firework Elementals mobs may also have spawned. These mobs were set to level 1, had 500 health, did not drop any items or EXP, and did not despawn. The Firework Elementals appeared to spawn in all worlds except Jungle, Ocean, Fantasy, Wasteland, and Prehistoric. The player must have stayed nearby the nest due to an anti-cheat feature, otherwise the egg would not be given to the player.
Quest for Fire had six objectives:
Objective | Extra Notes | Hint |
---|---|---|
"Speak to Shan in Origins World" | A green arrow will direct the player towards Shan. | |
"Purchase Fireworks Bundles from the Event Shop" | A green arrow would direct the player towards the Event Shop. | |

Once the player returned to Shan, they would say the following:
- "Wow! It's just crackling with energy! Great job, Adventurer!"
- "All that's left before our show is ready are more imbued firework eggs. Bring us 3 more, and we are ready to try and summon the Legendary Fulong!"
After their dialogue had finished, chapter 2 would begin.
Chapter 2 - Summoning Fulong[]
