Materials

Materials are natural traits that change the texture of a dragon's body.

There are currently 35 natural materials and 18 potion-exclusive materials, resulting in a total of 53 unique obtainable materials.

Materials are completely cosmetic and do not apply any buffs.

Types of Materials[]

There are two types of materials: Natural and potion exclusive.

Only 5 of the 35 natural materials can be obtained from eggs. An additional two are only present in the Solarizon and the Tosknir (Glass and Ice respectively).

The other 30 natural materials can be obtained from either Material Shuffle potions, theme potions, or from being bred down or co-hatched from dragons that have them.

All potion-exclusive materials are unable to be bred down or hatched naturally, as they can only be obtained from the potions they originate from.

Trivia[]

There is one material that is featured permanently on some dragons that is unable to be obtained in game.
- The Scrawei features the Plastic material (not to be confused with Smooth Plastic) in a large quantity.
