Minimap

The minimap in Origins

The minimap is a feature located in the top right of the player's screen that tracks the player's location with a green cursor and is able to be expanded to show a complete view of the world the player is in. Users on PC may use the M hotkey to instantly expand the minimap. The minimap is not currently usable at the player's base in Origins.

Friends of a user will be distinguished by blue cursor icons and party members will be distinguished by yellow cursor icons.[1] The minimap can be toggled on or off by clicking the green toggle bar to the left.

Features[]

The minimap is able to be expanded when the player selects the blue magnifying glass button, which will enlarge the map to fit the user's screen. Each world's map is divided into a 100-tile grid, which is labeled A-J vertically and 1-10 horizontally. The user may zoom in or out of the map up to 16 times by using the respective maximize () or minimize () buttons. The player may reset their zoom to normal by clicking the turn arrow () on the right of the map

The minimap currently has a point of interest icon for the player's plot and the World Teleporter.
