Features[]

Origins exhibits the following features:

Alchemy[]

Alchemy

Alchemy structure

Alchemy allows players to salvage food, resources, or potions to earn Alchemy Elixir, which in turn is used to brew potions.

Bank[]

Bank Teaser

The Bank

The Bank is where players can store away items to prevent using them or for safekeeping purposes. Depositing items will put them in the Bank, while withdrawing items takes them back into the player's inventory. The Bank has a limited inventory space that can be upgraded with coins to hold more items.

The Bank can currently be found between the World Teleporter and the missions structure.

Bases[]

Portal1

An example of a base portal

Bases are floating plots of land located in Origins which are owned and customizable by players.

Players can hatch eggs, host Hatch Parties, and craft buildings to put on their base. Bases can be accessed through their respective player portal in the base area in Origins.

Owned plot portals will display their respective players' username (or display name) and may or may not also feature a icon depending on the user's base settings.

Farm[]

Farm

An empty farm plot

The farm is a localized plot of land within Origins each player can grow crops on to obtain food.

It can be found behind and between the World Teleporter and the base portals.

Farm Merchant[]

Farm Merchant

The Farm Merchant

The Farm Merchant is a stationary NPC and buys a different farmable food item for more coins than the General Store does.

The Farm Merchant can be found to the right of the farm plot.

Missions[]

Missions

Dragon Seasons structure

Missions are divided into daily and weekly activities that come in various difficulties. Completing missions rewards the player with various rewards and Season Points that allow the player to progress through the Dragon Season.

The Dragon Season can be accessed through an icon on the right side of the player's screen on PC or within the Menu on mobile. The structure itself is located near the Bank.

Spinner Wheel[]

Spinner Wheel

Spinner Wheel

The Spinner Wheel contains 16 possible items per rotation that the player has a chance of winning. Players can receive a free Spin Token every 24 hours or through other means. Players can also purchase Spin Tokens with Robux.

The Spinner Wheel can be found in between Alchemy and the General Store.

Stables[]

Stables

The Stables

The Stables allows players to store dragons. The player is only able to store as many dragons in the Stables that their Lair allows them to hold. Players can withdraw their dragons from the Stables whenever they want, much like the Bank.

The Stables can be found behind the Undercity portal.

Enemies[]

The three mobs in Origins are the Boar, Falcon, and Owl. Two additional variants called the Elite Boar and Snow Owl are also present. Origins mobs can be found in irregular, rocky patches that are accompanied with scattered bones on dirt. Boars, Elite Boars, and Owls are found throughout most of the world, Falcons are most often found atop floating islands and/or in the Salt Flats region, and Snow Owls are found in the tundra region.

Boars and Elite Boars will dig up the ground and launch rocks at players, Owls and Snow Owls will attack the player by throwing rocks at them, and Falcons will fly towards the player and swoop at equipped dragons.

The Origins Boss entrance can be located at the top of the tundra biome. Masses of snow and runic pillars surround it. Players are awarded 1,000 Coins and 1,000 EXP for defeating it.

Appearance[]

The Origins Boss has the appearance of a dark brown and moss-covered bovine, with a scaled head and two pairs of large, curled horns. Grass and leaves sprout from its larger pair of horns, its throat, neck, forelimbs, and back. It has a long tail with mossy green fur at its tip, and green plating and claws.

Fight[]

Stage 1 begins with the Origins Boss targeting the player. It will bite the player 2 times before ramming them once. It will continue doing this until a third of its health bar has depleted.

Stage 2 begins with the Origins Boss retreating to its platform. It will create a green shield around itself that will prevent any damage to it. Four waves of four mobs each will begin dispensing out of each corner of the room. The second half of the boss's health bar will deplete each time a mob is killed.

Stage 3 reintroduces the Origins Boss with a new freeze attack. Every third ram attack will freeze the player for 5 seconds. It will continue biting the player and ramming them as well until the last of its health has been depleted.

Possible Rewards[]

All of the following items can be obtained from defeating the boss:

Dragons[]

The following dragon species are native to Origins:

Rocirus[]

Rocirus Icon

"The Rocirus, a frequent sight in the Origins world, is a dragon of classic qualities. These dragons are remarkably easy to domesticate. While their average speed may not win them any races, their gentle temperament more than compensates. Rocirus dragons possess poor attack and defense capabilities, making them ill-suited for combat. Furthermore, their health is nothing to boast about, rendering them vulnerable in the face of danger. Nevertheless, their docile nature and willingness to bond with humans have endeared them to many, often finding a place as loyal companions and steadfast friends."

Cocovira[]

Cocovira Icon

"Cocoviras are some of the most common dragons to encounter. These small dragons live a mostly semi-aquatic life, as they spend most of their time around water in small herds. They're barely bothered by anything and are very friendly towards all kinds of critters, even predators, which results in them being put on the menu quite a lot. Small animals like to huddle with them for warmth when they're resting. This also makes them some of the best dragons to have as companion for a trainer. They're usually recommended as dragons for starters, but many experienced trainers appreciate their laid back personalities and cuddliness."

Eggs[]

Origins Nest Icon

The Origin Egg can be found throughout the Origins world, however it can also be won from Time Trials, obtained from chests, or won from the Origins Boss.

The Origin Egg has 17 known spawn locations. Nest locations can be found here.
