"The Quahtona is a powerful eagle-like beast that is rumored to carry the fiery light of the sun on its gold crested feathers. This species becomes most active at sunrise and sunset, leading many to believe that it holds an important role in raising the sun each day, and encouraging it along its path through the sky. A Quahtonas power seems to follow the sun, with its strength peaking during the summer solstice. They radiate elegance with their sharp glare. Though menacing, they are extremely loyal and protective."

The Quahtona can be hatched from the following egg(s):
The Quahtona has a 2% chance of hatching from the Sun Egg.
With the Lucky Egg gamepass, the Quahtona has a 3% chance of hatching.
The other dragons exclusive to the Sun Egg are the:
- Casirius, with a 2% chance of hatching.
- Solarizon, with a 34% chance of hatching.
- Hexalios, with a 52% chance of hatching.
- Volkumos, with a 10% chance of hatching.
The Quahtona has a 2% chance of hatching from the Sun Chaos Egg.
With the Lucky Egg gamepass, the Quahtona has a 4% chance of hatching.
The other dragons exclusive to the Sun Chaos Egg are the:
- Casirius, with a 2% chance of hatching.
- Cosmalisk, with a 2% chance of hatching.
- Quetzaloctli, with a 1% chance of hatching.
- Hexalios, with a 50% chance of hatching.

The Quahtona is able to be bred only with other Quahtonas. It has a 12-hour breeding cooldown and a 
25,000 Coin breeding fee.
In addition, the female parent of the offspring will become Soul Bound, and thus be unable to be auctioned, bred, or traded.
The same rules apply to Co-Hatching, however both players' parent Quahtonas will become Soul Bound.
The minimum starting bid is 25,000 Coins.
The auto buy has the same limit.
The Quahtona is able to be traded.
The Quahtona could be obtained via other method(s):
Players were able to guarantee themselves one Quahtona on day 7 at the end of Week One of the Solstice Event 2024.
Each day had two special missions players needed to complete in order to progress through the Sun Quest.
The Quahtona would come with its default colors (Cranberry-Ivory-Orange) and would be age 34 when claimed.Gallery[]
Trivia[]
- The Quahtona's name is made up of classical Nahuatl cuauhtli, meaning "eagle", and tōna, meaning "to shine" or "to be hot/sunny", which may also derive from tonatiuh, meaning "sun".[1]
- Its design was inspired by Aztec jewelry, eagles and Aztec depictions of eagles, and from some of the Solstice event buildings, namely the Sun Arch.[1]
- The Quahtona was made breedable on December 6th, 2024, alongside the Mechanoxide, Tempiritus, and the Trametos.[2]
