Event[]
Pre-event[]
On August 2nd, 2024, at 7:36 PM EST, the Sunflower and the countdown were added to Origins, and players became able to heal it with Water Orbs for event rewards.

Water Orbs could be found scattered around the world and spawned nearby the central town. Each time the Sunflower was given a Water Orb, it would regain some color in its stem and move slightly upward. It took 10-15 Water Orbs to fully heal it, and once fully healed, it would drop one of the rewards listed below to any player that helped contribute to healing it. It took 1 minute for the flower to wilt again after being fully healed.

Below is a list of locations the Water Orbs would spawn at:
Event[]
Week One[]

Event portal
Week One began August 9th, at 3:00 PM EST. It added the new Quahtona dragon and opened up access to the Solstice World. The Casirius, Hexalios, Solarizon, and the Volkumos were rereleased alongside returning and new items. The minigames from the past were reintroduced with the new Sun Quest and Egg Forge features.
The Sun Quest allowed players to guarantee themselves a Quahtona at the end of Week One by doing special missions. The Solar Rays event-exclusive cosmetic trait and Gold element were also added.
Week Two[]
Week Two began August 16th, at 3:00 PM EST. It added the new Quetzaloctli dragon and Quahtona Cape UGC accessory and made the Death Races available. The Realm of Chaos made its proper debut alongside its boss and the Chaos Aura event cosmetic trait was added. The "Endless Flame" soundtrack composed by Gialite was added to the Realm of Chaos boss fight and it premiered on Gialite's YouTube channel at 4:00 PM EST.[1]

Week Three began early August 23rd, at 2:33 PM EST. Two new accessories, two new cosmetics, five new base buildings, four theme potions, and a new plot theme were added to the Event Store and are purchasable with Sun Chaos Eggs. The Spartan Helmet was re-added, the Gold Potion became purchasable from the Event Store, and six recolored Quahtona Cape UGC accessories were added.
Week Three of Sun Quest was added and allowed players to guarantee themselves a Cosmalisk with the Chaos Aura cosmetic trait at Week Three's end.
World[]

Solstice World
The Solstice World retained the previous Solstice event's world appearance. The world itself was composed of one large main floating island with several other smaller floating islands surrounding it. The islands were covered in red grass and shrubbery, as well as red palm trees and large white flowers. Small shoots, ruins, towers and pillars, and rocky crystals also decked the islands' surfaces.
The main island was joined together to the World Teleporter with two bridges. A large mountain with a relic resembling the sun was located at the center of the island, and underneath it was the entrance to the Realm of Chaos and two openings to the caverns below. On the right of the island was where the minigames were located, and at the beginning of the island were the exclusive stores and Egg Forge.
The Dragon Races minigame paved paths around the largest island. The races showcased small lights that indicated the races' paths. A giant monumental arena was located to the left of the world.
Chaos Sun[]

Chaos Sun
The Chaos Sun was a weather effect that occurred every 15 minutes in the Solstice World. It lasted 15 minutes and gave the world a strong red and orange hue and made the world's sun split into three distinct pieces. The Chaos Sun weather event allowed either of the Death Races to spawn Sun Chaos Eggs for players to obtain. Regular races also gained the ability to award players Sun Chaos Eggs upon completion.
Badge & Title[]
If the player entered the Solstice World, they would be rewarded with the Chaos Conqueror title and the Solstice 2024 badge.

Sun Gold
Sun Gold acted as the primary event currency for the Solstice Event 2024. It was used to purchase items from the Accessory Store and Event Store and to forge event eggs at the Egg Forge.
It was obtainable from minigames, completing Sun Quest missions, and could be claimed each time the player completed all three minigames from the Minigames Bonuses interface.
Sun Gold was also able to be purchased with Robux from the Premium Shop.

Solstice Premium Shop[]
During the Solstice Event 2024, the Solar Pack bundle was purchasable for 1,199 Robux.
There were two event boosts also purchasable with Robux. Both bonuses' effects were stackable and could each be purchased multiple times.

Helga the Hexalios
Helga the Hexalios was a juvenile Hexalios NPC that acted as the tutorial instructor NPC for the Solstice Event 2024. She was located in front of the World Teleporter.
Upon entering the Solstice world, players would be directed to her in order to understand the basics of the event. Upon being interacted with, she would say the following:
- "Welcome home, my Child of sun."
- "Our Sunflowers, they wilt from the harsh rays of the sun. Your help is needed to revive them."
- "Bring Water Essence to them, and watch as they begin to grow!"
- "Fully revive one, and receive a Sun Egg for your efforts..."
- "Go my child, bring these sunflowers back to life!"
After her dialogue was finished, a Solstice Event tips interface would show up.

Each mission completed would allow the player to progress closer to obtaining a free Quahtona and Quetzaloctli at the end of Week One and Week Two, respectively. On August 23rd, at 2:33 PM EST, Week Three was added for players to complete to earn a free Cosmalisk with the Chaos Aura cosmetic trait.
If the player missed a day, they would be able to unlock it for 59 Robux. Each day began at 3:00 PM EST.

Sunflowers[]

A dead Sunflower
Sunflowers could be found scattered around the Solstice World and required Water Essence to be healed. A player must have had at least 100 Water Essence to heal a sunflower once, with 400 Water Essence being required to fully heal one.
Once healed, any contributing players would be awarded 1 Sun Egg and 20-40 Sun Gold, and the flower would wilt again after 1 minute. A Sun Egg icon would be displayed over a healed Sunflower for any distant contributors that needed to claim their egg.
Realm of Chaos[]

Realm of Chaos
The Realm of Chaos made its proper debut in Week Two of the event. The portal it housed could be unlocked for 250 Water Essence. Once unlocked, the boss queue would become accessible and would start a 1-minute countdown as soon as a player entered the ring. Behind the portal were rocks with a draconic centaur-like figure painted across them.

The Realm of Chaos boss
Once the countdown was up, all participating players would be teleported to a large, enclosed arena, and an additional countdown of 15 seconds would be initiated. In the midst of the arena was a circular altar with a lava pool in the middle. Around the arena were pillars of varying size and past them was a ring of lava. The Realms of Chaos boss would rise out of the central lava pool and would begin phase one when the countdown was up. Laser beams would emerge from the boss's head orb every 8 seconds and follow players for 5 seconds, dealing 150 damage to dragons. The speed of the lasers and pink crystals hastened each phase. The boss itself could not be damaged.
Phases[]
Phase one of the boss required players to defeat three floating pink crystals. The crystals moved around the boss in a circular motion and could be damaged with elemental breath or bite damage. When a crystal was destroyed, it would create a large AoE (area of effect) sphere that would deal 300 damage to players' dragons inside after 5 seconds. The boss would also use its large hammer weapon to pound players' dragons who were not moving constantly, dealing 400 damage to dragons that were hit.
Once all of the crystals were destroyed, phase two would begin.
Phase two was similar to phase one, although there were four crystals, and the boss gained a new attack. Every 10 seconds, the boss would use its hammer to damage dragons around it in a full circle swinging motion. Any dragons caught in the red danger zone ring when the hammer passed through would receive 500 damage.
Once all four crystals were destroyed, phase three would begin.
Phase three was the final phase and required five crystals to be destroyed. The boss also gained a new attack, and the music would become faster-paced. Around every 10 seconds, the boss would charge up to explode. The boss charged for about 5 seconds before the blast would move outwards, with two extra seconds for players to hide. Players could hide behind any of the stone pillars to prevent getting damaged, which would be highlighted green. Any dragons caught in the 6-second blast would be dealt 400 damage each second and may also be damaged by lasers as well.
The boss would continue charging for its explosion attack until all five crystals were destroyed. Once the crystals were all destroyed, the boss would slowly sink back down into the lava pool it originated from, and participating players would be rewarded 1-2 Sun Chaos Eggs and ~150-250 Sun Gold. Players also had a chance to be awarded the Solstice Chaos Maul accessory and/or a Young, randomly colored Quetzaloctli.Title[]
If the player successfully defeated the Realms of Chaos boss 40 times, they would be rewarded with the Realm of Chaos title.
Minigames[]

Minigame bonuses
There were three minigames featured in the Solstice Event 2024. If the player completed all three at least once, they would be able to claim 300 Sun Gold and 1,000 Water Essence.
The Minigames Bonuses could be found on the lower right of the player's screen on PC and could be completed an infinite number of times.

The Dragon Races
The Dragon Races were competitive minigames. At least two players were needed for a race to start.
They featured flying and ground races, and in Week Two, the Death Race variants were released. All of the races were able to run simultaneously and allowed up to 10 players to participate per race. The Ground Race had yellow rings and short barracks, and the Flying Race had blue rings. Both non-PVP races had green speed boosts and red speed deduction rings. Each race also had a server-wide leaderboard, which recorded players' fastest race times and what dragon they used.
Either of the regular or death races would have a chance to feature 1 Sun Chaos Egg able to be picked up by a player only during the Chaos Sun weather event (regular races would randomly award the Sun Chaos Egg, however). The player would only be given the egg if they collected it and finished the race. The probability of a Sun Chaos Egg spawning or a Sun Egg being awarded to a participating player did not seem to be dictated by any known factors of the race.
As soon as the first player finished the race, a DNF (did not finish) timer of 60 seconds would be put in place. Any player who did not finish the race by the time the DNF timer was over would be given a DNF and not win anything.

If the player achieved 1st place at least once, they would be rewarded with the Solar Racer title.
If the player achieved 1st place in 50 Dragon Races, they would be rewarded with the Solar Supreme title.

Star Catcher
Star Catcher was a co-op minigame. At least one player was needed to start the minigame.
It tasked players to catch a varying number of flying Stars in a span of 3 minutes. In a solo round, 10 Stars were required to be caught. The Stars took the appearance of Solar Flares with wings and were highlighted blue. They could be caught by clicking the E key when the player was near them. The minigame would only reward players once all Stars had been caught.

Sundae Search was a solo minigame.

The minigame would only reward the player when all three sundaes had been found and could be repeated/reset every 5 minutes.

Event Dragons[]
The Solstice Event 2024 released two new event dragons and returned five event dragons:
Casirius[]

"The Casirius is a mysterious, and elusive draconic beast, native to the Solstice world. While the Solarizon rules over the day, the Casirius reigns over the night. These nocturnal beasts are said to be brimming with celestial power, drawing their strength from the stars above. Tamed Casirius are very desired by dragon trainers for their unique appearance, rarity, and friendly nature. Just Like big dogs, they are endlessly loyal, and strive to please their trainers. They are also deceptively strong for their size, albeit, not very fast."
The Casirius released in Week One of the event.
Cosmalisk[]

"The Cosmalisk is a large, majestic dragon adorned with features reminiscent of the vast outer cosmos. They can be found in the Solstice world during a particular cosmological event. These majestic dragons are solitary by nature and rarely make an appearance. The Cosmalisk performs well in combat, because of its high health and a powerful bite. They can dispatch most of their enemies with ease and are a well-rounded dragon, although they can be unpredictable at times. Handling a Cosmalisk comes with great risk, and it is recommended that only very experienced tamers pursue them. Some advanced tamers believe they may be an old and primal species capable of causing extreme chaos and calamity if left unchecked. They have an unintentional habit of causing chaos around them."
The Cosmalisk released in Week Two of the event.
Hexalios[]

"These radiant dragons almost seem to feed off the sun's energy, as they are seen floating around the islands of the Solstice world, gentle and regal. They are quite powerful dragons, despite their large size and slow speed. They seem to have existed for a long, long time, as old murals found around the cave systems of the Solstice world show ancient civilizations who worshipped the Hexalios as a sun god, even forming large groups to collect fruit to offer them at the altars. As of now, these dragons aren't quite so rare to find, though they are still difficult to domesticate. Back then, Hexalios used to primarily feed on sun oranges gathered by their many worshippers, but nowadays they have a much more diverse palate and usually feed on the available fruit and fish of the Solstice world."
The Hexalios released in Week One of the event.
Quahtona[]

"The Quahtona is a powerful eagle-like beast that is rumored to carry the fiery light of the sun on its gold crested feathers. This species becomes most active at sunrise and sunset, leading many to believe that it holds an important role in raising the sun each day, and encouraging it along its path through the sky. A Quahtonas power seems to follow the sun, with its strength peaking during the summer solstice. They radiate elegance with their sharp glare. Though menacing, they are extremely loyal and protective."
The Quahtona released in Week One of the event.
Quetzaloctli[]

"It is said that this mysterious dragon incarnates into a physical form by possessing a statue after sacred rituals. A few pieces of stone are still attached to its body. The Quetzaloctli always holds a small piece of the sun in its hands, which it carries in a dedicated to bring the warmth and sunlight wherever it goes."
The Quetzaloctli released in Week Two of the event.
Solarizon[]

"The Solarizon species are a rare sight in the Solstice world. These dragons have a powerful bite force, and equally strong fire breath. Due to their large size, speed isn't their strong point. However, what they lack in speed, they make up for by having good health, enabling them to be strong enough to hold their own in combat. Solarizons are proud, powerful dragons who aren't easily befriended, but when you manage to get close to one, it will stay at your side forever."
The Solarizon released in Week One of the event.
Volkumos[]

"The Volkumos is a highly proud and intelligent dragon species native to the Solstice World. Volkumos sightings are extremely rare, and the species is thought to have existed for centuries. These regal dragons possess extensive knowledge and exude a natural sense of authority, making them suitable companions for leaders or influential individuals. Volkumos display exceptional physical strength, formidable attacks, and above-average health. These fierce dragons are not inclined to shy away from conflict and will stop at nothing to protect their territory, belongings, or loved ones. Earning the acceptance and trust of a Volkumos is a demanding task, but with patience and luck, one may acquire a fiercely devoted and wise ally."
The Volkumos released in Week One of the event.
Eggs[]

The Sun Egg could be obtained from healing Sunflowers and could be forged at the Egg Forge for 150 Sun Gold. They could also be obtained by completing minigames and from Sun Quest. The exclusive Solar Pack bundle contained 3 Sun Eggs and could be bought for 1,199 Robux.
