A Time Trial

A Time Trial is a short race minigame present in all worlds that occurs every 4 minutes only if there is not an already existing Time Trial present.

There are three unique Time Trial racetracks in every world. The Time Trial track given to the player depends on their location in the world.

A small green arrow will direct the player to the Time Trial once it spawns in a world, and it will disappear after a few seconds. An hourglass icon () will also be displayed over where the Time Trial started.

Time Trials begin when a player uses any dragon to move through the ring. Once the ring has been passed through, the player will have one minute to finish the race. When 10 seconds is left, the timer will begin to make sounds, and the remaining seconds will alternate between red. Each subsequent ring (excluding the final ring) will have a grey transparent ring appear to help guide the player where to fly to next.

Completion

If the player successfully completes a Time Trial, they will be awarded 700 Coins and 100 EXP will be given to the dragon that was used to complete the Time Trial.

While rarer, the player can also be rewarded an egg that corresponds to the world the Time Trial was completed in. The player will not receive the egg if they own the max amount of the egg in their inventory. Players cannot be awarded eggs in the Undercity.

If the player does not complete the Time Trial in the given time limit, they will not receive anything.

• Time Trials were implemented on January 5th, 2022.
  • Time Trials were first introduced on October 23rd, 2021, where they were featured in the Time Trial minigame for the Halloween Event 2021.
  • The first ring racing minigame to be added was April 12th, 2020; Part Two of the Easter Event 2020.
• On August 30th, 2024, the following ring that appears after the highlighted ring the player must pass through was added as a visual effect, as to help guide players' ways through the track.
• On June 6th, 2025, Time Trials were temporarily disabled for revamping, but returned on June 13th.
