Event Features[]
Collin the Card Man[]

Collin the Card Man
Collin the Card Man returned as the Valentines Event 2024's tutorial instructor NPC.
Upon entering the Valentines Event 2024 area, players would be directed to him in order to understand the basics of the event.
- "Hello! It's me! Collin the Card Man!"
- "That wretched heart locked me up in his maze, but I head the gumption to break out! Hah!"
- "Take a spin in that dastardly maze if you like, I found a bunch of Chocolate laying around in there."
- "We are also throwing a competition this year! Time Trials! Whoever can complete the time trials with the fastest time win a big Box of Chocolates"
- "Your Dragons will get peckish, and ask for some of these Chocolates you obtain, feed them the right chocolates and receive Valentines Hearts in return!"
- "That’s all you need to know! Have fun out there Adventurer!"
After being spoken to, Collin would display "Collin's Tips", an interface that further elaborated on how to obtain chocolates, Hearts, and how to obtain Eggs Of Chocolates.
Chocolates[]

Chocolates
Chocolates were reintroduced in the Valentines Event 2024. Chocolates were special kinds of food items purely used to feed dragons for the exchange of 10-15 Hearts. They were obtainable from minigames and Valentines Chocolate Boxes.
There were five different kinds of Chocolate, those being Caramel, Cherry, Coconut, Dark, and White Chocolate.
Unlike in previous Valentines events, the player was able to feed their dragon the same kind of chocolate 5-10 times until their dragon became temporarily full for about a minute and wanted a different kind of chocolate. The kind of chocolate a dragon wanted appeared to rotate at an hourly interval if it was not completely fed.
Additionally, each player was more likely to obtain one kind of chocolate than the others in order to encourage chocolate trading.
Daily Valentines Chests[]

A Valentines Chest
There were five daily Valentines Chests present in Origins. They functioned much like regular chests, resetting at 7:00 PM EST. One of the chests would always be located in front of the event timer.
Each Valentines Chest had 15 health and would drop 1 Valentines Chocolate Box upon being opened.
Daily Valentines Chest Locations[]
Trade Hub[]

Trade Hub
The Trade Hub was a small area located to the left of the Accessory Store. It served as a meetup place for players to trade chocolates with one another.
The Trade Hub featured a large trading symbol on a heart-shaped plaque. Five stands of each kind of chocolate were situated around it.
Minigames[]
The Choco Maze and Time Race minigames made a return and could be located in the Valentines Event 2024 area.

Choco Maze
The Choco Maze was a singe-player minigame that tasked the player to find five different chocolates in a tall hedge maze within 3 minutes. The player was unable to equip any dragons at this time. There were three different mazes.
The player must have turned in the chocolate(s) they collected in the maze to the portal in order to receive them. If the player failed to do this, they would receive nothing, regardless of if they obtained anything or not.
The minigame had a five-minute cooldown that started immediately after the player entered the maze.
Item | Amount | Guaranteed? |
---|---|---|
Caramel Chocolate | 1 | Only if found |
Cherry Chocolate | 1 | Only if found |
Coconut Chocolate | 1 | Only if found |
Dark Chocolate | 1 | Only if found |
Valentines Chocolate Box | 1 | Only if all chocolates are found |
White Chocolate | 1 | Only if found |

Time Races
The Time Races minigame acted and served as a replacement to the Origins Time Trials, however, they had heart rings and started above the Time Races area. In addition, it featured 3 unique racetracks and a server-wide leaderboard that displayed players' best times of the most recent race.
Players had one-minute and 50 seconds to join the race. If the player was still in the race when the timer was up, they would be given a DNF (did not finish). The minigame had a five-minute cooldown before it refreshed the leaderboard.
Upon completing the Time Race, the player would be awarded 1 Valentines Chocolate Box. If they held the fastest time, they would be awarded an extra Valentines Chocolate Box.Event Dragons[]
The Valentines Event 2024 released one new event dragon alongside two returning event dragons.
Desygual[]

"They are an inspiration of what is considered ideal in love. The forever bond of two souls in one body. Elegant, whimsical and gorgeous, Desygual is a dragon of that, in nature, is actually quite aloof and solitary. When tamed though, they love to be around their owners, even though sometimes the heads fight for their attention."
Fayrah[]

"The Fayrah is sharp-witted and fierce, holding great amounts of memories and wisdom from being reborn repeatedly through its own ashes over many generations. They are sequestered and observant dragons who will only befriend dragon tamers they see as worthy and capable of true love, especially during the month of February. Fayrahs are dedicated to protecting their owners at all costs. They have strong legs, wings, sharp beaks, and talons that provide decent speed and quick attacks to compensate for their poorer health and defense capabilities. They live in family-based groups, caring intensely for each other, and are highly territorial over their hatchlings. Due to the fact that each head controls one half of the body, they mature and learn more slowly than the average dragon. However, they become more graceful and agile as they age, growing keener over time."
Tarotta[]

"Tarotta is a unique and enigmatic dragon, embodying the essence of the Valentine's holiday with an unapologetic twist. These self-absorbed creatures are a resplendent shade of pink, adorned with intricate patterns resembling spades and hearts, making them a living tapestry of love and self-indulgence. Owning a Tarotta is an experience like no other, for these dragons have a singular focus - themselves. They are unabashedly selfish and self-loving, caring only for their own preening and personal adoration. Trainers of Tarotta dragons find themselves relegated to the role of spectators, forever gazing upon their extravagant and self-centered companions in a curious, one-sided affair of affection."
Eggs[]
The Egg Of Chocolates was obtainable from the infusion of an Origin Egg with Hearts at an Origin Egg nest.
The infusion costed 300 Hearts (250 in older servers) and would transform the Origin Egg in the nest into an Egg Of Chocolates. The Egg Of Chocolates nest also became decorated and emitted heart particles.
If the player left the game or switched servers, their Egg Of Chocolates nest would save, however it may have been in a different location.
