Collin the Card Man[]

Collin the Card Man
Collin the Card Man acted as the tutorial instructor NPC for the event.
Upon entering the Valentines Event 2025 area, players would be directed to him in order to understand the basics of the event.
- "Welcome, welcome! Collin the Card Man here, and I’m excited to have you join for the fun."
- "Ready to take on some sweet challenges for the Valentine's Event?"
- "First, if you’re feeling brave, venture through the maze I’ve escaped from. I scattered a bunch of Chocolates inside, so find them while you can!"
- "And don’t forget about the Time Trials! Race through the challenges, and the quickest will get their hands on a Box of Chocolates! Who doesn’t love a sweet reward, right?"
- "Complete missions to earn a variety of Chocolates! Each type will help you in different ways, so get ready to collect them all for Hearts. Feed your dragons the right type of Chocolate they crave, and you'll earn extra Hearts!"
- "Now, here’s something new! Archie had started a Conservation Project!"
- "Send dragons into his care, and he will give you Chocolates you can feed to your dragons. The more you feed, the more Valentines Hearts you'll earn, so it’s a win-win!"
- "And don’t miss out on the Valentine’s Event Pass! Hatch eggs to earn event points and unlock guaranteed rewards along the way."
- "Reach the end, and you can even rebirth the pass for more rewards. The more you hatch, the more you earn!"
- "Take this Valentines Chocolate Box and feed its contents to your dragons!"
Collin the Card Man would then give the player 1 Valentines Chocolate Box for speaking to him for the first time. If he was interacted with again, he would repeat the same above dialogue, except he will not mention giving the player a Valentines Chocolate Box and instead say the following end line:
- "So, what are you waiting for? There's a maze full of sweet prizes, time trials to race through, and some tasty Chocolates waiting to be dusted onto your dragons! Go ahead and make this Valentine’s a memorable one!"
Chocolates[]

Chocolates
Chocolates were a special kind of food used to feed dragons in exchange for the event's currency, Hearts.
There were five types of chocolates, those being Caramel, Cherry, Coconut, Dark, and White. They were obtainable from Valentines Chocolate Boxes and minigames. Each player was more likely to obtain one kind of chocolate than the others in order to encourage chocolate trading.
A dragon would crave 5-10 of a specific chocolate occasionally, rewarding 18-20 Hearts per chocolate it was fed. The player could feed the dragon a chocolate that was not currently being craved, however it would award 6-11 Hearts. After the dragon was fed the max desired number of chocolates, it would request another chocolate a minute afterward.
Chocolates could also be obtained from hatching Sakura Eggs, which will award 1 chocolate, and from completing world missions & daily and weekly missions. Novice and
Amateur missions were worth 3 chocolates,
Journeyman missions were worth 4 chocolates, and
Expert and
Master missions were worth 5 chocolates.
Mission | Reward |
---|---|
Find 5 Eggs | 3 Caramel Chocolates |
Find 3 Treasure Chests | 3 Cherry Chocolates |
Kill 15 Mobs | 3 Coconut Chocolates |
Kill 1 Boss | 3 Dark Chocolates |
Spend 07m 30s | 3 White Chocolates |
Harvest 50 Food And Resources | 3 Caramel Chocolates |
Archie's Conservation Project[]

Archie's Conservation Project
Archie's Conservation Project was a structure located beside the Accessory Store that allows the player to exchange and release dragons for a random assortment of chocolates.
The player could select any non-favorited dragon and could select as many dragons as they wanted. All non-Valentines event dragons were worth 2 less chocolate than Valentines event dragons. Baby non-Valentines event dragons were worth 2 chocolates, juvenile and adults were worth 3, and elders were worth 4.
Note that when any dragon was selected, the player would be able to click "Release", which would permanently delete the selected dragon(s) and award the player chocolates.
Title[]
If the player released 100 dragons, they would be awarded the Dragon Conservationist title.
Event Pass[]

Event Pass interface
The Event Pass was a feature accessible from the right side of the player's screen via the "EVENT" icon. The player could earn points by hatching Sakura Eggs, which were worth 8 points when hatched. In total, the player needed to hatch 300 Sakura Eggs to reach the 2,400 points required to complete the Event Pass.
It was made up of 10 tiers, and the final tier contains the Cutiepatoo as a grand prize. When the player claimed the Cutiepatoo, they would be able to "Rebirth" and redo the Event Pass over again.

Bronze Valentines chests had one bronze heart, silver Valentines chests had two silver hearts, and gold Valentines chests had three gold hearts.
Quest[]
The event featured two limited quests: Cupid's Quest and Cupid's Bow.
Cupid's Quest quest was made up of 1 chapter with 6 objectives in total. It could be completed only once.
Chapter 1 - Cupid's Quest[]
"Valentine's Day is here, bringing a whirlwind of sweet treats! The dragons are eager to indulge, and in return, you'll receive Hearts to fuel your journey.
The adventure for love and rewards is just beginning. Let's dive into this sweet journey together!"
Cupid's Quest had six objectives:
Objective | Hint |
---|---|
"Talk to Collin the Card Man" | "Talk to Collin the Card Man in the Valentine's Area" A green arrow would direct the player to Collin the Card Man |
"Open a Valentines Chocolate Box" | "Open the Valentines Chocolate Box in your Inventory" |
"Feed your dragon a Chocolate" | "Your dragon will request a specific chocolate." |
"Obtain 100 Hearts" | "Acquire more hearts by feeding your dragons chocolates" |
"Infuse a nest with 100 Hearts" | "Travel to a nest and infuse it with Hearts" |
"Obtain a Sakura Egg" |
Cupid's Bow quest is made up of 1 chapter with 3 objectives in total. It could be completed only once.
Chapter 1 - Cupid's Bow[]
"Collin handed me Cupid's Bow, a powerful weapon with a simple mission: use it to defeat a few mobs and prove its strength. With the bow in hand, I set out to take down the mobs, doing Collin a favor."
Upon interacting with Collin the Card Man, he would say the following:
- "Hey! I've got a Cupid's Bow for you. Grab it and take out a few mobs with it to obtain Chocolates."
- "Come back to me when you're done."
Cupid's Bow had three objectives:
Objective | Hint |
---|---|
"Talk to Collin the Card Man" | "Talk to Collin the Card Man in the Valentine's Area" A green arrow would direct the player to Collin the Card Man |
"Defeat 5 Mobs with Cupid's Bow | "Equip Cupid's Bow in your inventory to your hotbar, and use it to defeat mobs!" |
"Return to Collin the Card Man" | "Talk to Collin the Card Man in the Valentine's Area" A green arrow would direct the player to Collin the Card Man |
When the player interacts with Collin the Card Man once more, he would say the following:
- "Nice! You made quick work of those mobs."
- "Keep Cupid’s Bow, it suits you!."
Minigames[]
The Choco Maze and Time Race minigames could be located in the Valentines Event 2025 area.

Choco Maze
The Choco Maze was a single-player minigame that tasks the player to find five different chocolates in a tall hedge maze within 3 minutes. The player was unable to equip any dragons at this time. There were three different mazes.
The player must have turned in the chocolate(s) they collected in the maze to the portal in order to receive them. If the player failed to do this, they would receive nothing. If the player exited the maze with all five chocolates found, they would also be awarded a Valentines Chocolate Box.
The minigame had a 5-minute cooldown that started immediately after the player entered the maze.

Time Races
The Time Races minigame behaved similarly to a Time Trial, however, they had heart rings and started above the Time Races minigame area. In addition, it featured 3 unique racetracks and a server-wide leaderboard that displayed players' best times of the most recent race.
A Time Race lasted 3 minutes, however the race could not be joined after 2 minutes had passed. If the player was still in the race when the timer was up, they would be given a DNF (did not finish). The minigame had a 4-minute cooldown before it would refresh the leaderboard.
Upon completing the Time Race, the player would be awarded 1 Valentines Chocolate Box. If they hold the fastest time, they would be awarded an extra Valentines Chocolate Box.Event Dragons[]
The Valentines Event 2025 released one new event dragon and returned three event dragons:
Cutiepatoo[]

"Cutiepatoo were immensely affectionate and cherished dragons among trainers. These dragons never seem to run out of appreciation for those around them and love to bring sweet treats to anyone who shows them kindness. In many cultures, Cutiepatoo are symbols of longevity and affection. The arrows they shoot from their tails are even said to have the power to make those struck by them fall in love."
The Cutiepatoo was released in Week One of the event.
Desygual[]

"They are an inspiration of what is considered ideal in love. The forever bond of two souls in one body. Elegant, whimsical and gorgeous, Desygual is a dragon of that, in nature, is actually quite aloof and solitary. When tamed though, they love to be around their owners, even though sometimes the heads fight for their attention."
The Desygual was released in Week One of the event.
Fayrah[]

"The Fayrah is sharp-witted and fierce, holding great amounts of memories and wisdom from being reborn repeatedly through its own ashes over many generations. They are sequestered and observant dragons who will only befriend dragon tamers they see as worthy and capable of true love, especially during the month of February. Fayrahs are dedicated to protecting their owners at all costs. They have strong legs, wings, sharp beaks, and talons that provide decent speed and quick attacks to compensate for their poorer health and defense capabilities. They live in family-based groups, caring intensely for each other, and are highly territorial over their hatchlings. Due to the fact that each head controls one half of the body, they mature and learn more slowly than the average dragon. However, they become more graceful and agile as they age, growing keener over time."
The Fayrah was released in Week One of the event.
Tarotta[]

"Tarotta is a unique and enigmatic dragon, embodying the essence of the Valentine's holiday with an unapologetic twist. These self-absorbed creatures are a resplendent shade of pink, adorned with intricate patterns resembling spades and hearts, making them a living tapestry of love and self-indulgence. Owning a Tarotta is an experience like no other, for these dragons have a singular focus - themselves. They are unabashedly selfish and self-loving, caring only for their own preening and personal adoration. Trainers of Tarotta dragons find themselves relegated to the role of spectators, forever gazing upon their extravagant and self-centered companions in a curious, one-sided affair of affection."
The Tarotta was released in Week One of the event.
Eggs[]
The Sakura Egg could be obtained by fusing an Origin Egg nest with 100 Hearts. Once the nest was infused, the player would be able to claim the egg by clicking only three targets, as opposed to eight. The Origin Egg nest would also become decorated, turning light pink with red hearts and chocolate bars atop, and it would emit heart particles.
If the player left the game or switched servers, they would be refunded 100 Hearts for each Sakura Egg they had not collected.
Dragons hatched from the Sakura Egg have a 5% chance to hatch with the Blossoming Head Aura cosmetic trait, Blossoming Tail Aura cosmetic trait, and/or the Chocolate element, and a 0.1% chance to hatch with the [Error:Cosmetic] cosmetic trait.

Trivia[]
- The Valentines Event 2025 was the fifth Valentines event to take place in Dragon Adventures.
- When the countdown for the event was put in place, the Daily Valentines Chests were accidentally added as well. When a Daily Valentines Chest was opened, it would drop nothing and close. This issue was fixed shortly after the countdown was added.[1]
- The Event Store displays Eggs Of Chocolates, which was the egg used for the Valentines Event 2024.
- The event ended five minutes earlier than intended to ensure that Guild Wars 6 began approximately at 4:00 PM EST.[2]
