"Originating from Season 1, Veidreki are one of the scarcest sights to see through out Dragonaria. No one knows their true origin, yet some have speculated that they were born from the most terrible of storms far out at sea. It has been recorded that Veidreki can be spotted during thunderstorms in any world, keeping a significant distance from others. Using their massive wing span and slim figure, they can fly at unimaginable speeds. Many have been said to look up to the Veidreki due to their limited sightings, as well as their remarkable appearance. Exhibiting their sharp frills, gorgeous patterns, and vibrant colors they are able to catch the eyes of many. Attempting to tame this dragon is a difficult task, as they only show themselves to those with the most noble of souls. Once obtaining the trust of a Veidreki, they will stick by your side through anything."

The Veidreki was obtainable by completing 10 season pass levels during Dragon Season 1 as the final reward.
The season lasted through the whole of October 2021.

- The Veidreki's name is a combination of old Norse veðr, meaning "weather", and dreki, meaning "dragon."
- The Veidreki was the first season dragon to be released.
- The Veidreki emits lightning effects from its "ear" frills and between the tips of its wings.
- The Veidreki was the first season dragon released to naturally emit particles.
- The Veidreki received a remodel with considerably less parts on January 5th, 2024.[1]
- The Veidreki's original model was made up of 581 parts: the highest part count of any dragon currently in the game.[2]
- The remodel is made up of 271 parts and was created for the sole purpose of resolving performance issues.[2]
- The remodel was originally planned to be implemented August 25th, 2023, however it was delayed to September 1st, 2023, due to a backwards-facing HumanoidRootPart.[3] The new model was not added until January 5th, 2024.
- During the Veidreki Adventures Event, all players were given a free "Veidreki" in their Lairs. In reality, the "Veidreki" was a fully-mutated Rocirus wearing the DIY Veidreki accessory with Veidreki-like colors. The "Veidreki" was removed with the Veidreki Adventures Event on April 3rd, 2023.
- A Veidreki NPC named Janice ran the Veidreki's Shop during the Veidreki Adventures Event. Janice was also noted to have been Barbara's friend, a Volkumos NPC from the Wagon Adventures Event.
- The Veidreki has two unique UGC accessories themed after it, those being the Veidreki Horns and the Veidreki Wings.
- Both accessories also have three color variants each, including gold, red, and white.
- The Veidreki has multiple items based off of it:
- The Fake Veidreki Preset Potion mimics the Veidreki's default colors.
- The Veidreki Backpack cosmetic resembles the Veidreki.
- The Veidreki Burst Body Flair emits a charged blue aura with lightning and DIY Veidreki heads.
- There are two dragon accessories that are based off of the Veidreki, those being the DIY Veidreki and the Veidreki Disguise.
