The Wasteland Boss can be found up the staircase of the world's main monumental structure. Players are awarded 1,000 Coins and 1,000 EXP for defeating it.

Appearance[]

The Wasteland Boss is mostly pitch black with a lime green underbelly and patterns. Rocky black and lime ridges line its back and mouthed tail. Its head has two curved horns which encompass a singular orb, a broad and jagged snout, and two pairs of pupilless eyes. Small frills also line the sides of its face. It also has two rows of teeth.

Fight[]

Stage 1 begins with the Wasteland Boss targeting the player. It will bite the player 2 times before ramming them once. It will continue doing this until a third of its health bar has depleted.

Stage 2 begins with the Wasteland Boss retreating to its platform. It will create a vibrant green shield around itself that will prevent any damage to it. Four waves of four mobs each will begin dispensing out of each corner of the room. The second half of the boss's health bar will deplete each time a mob is killed.

Stage 3 reintroduces the Wasteland Boss with a new freeze attack. Every third ram attack will freeze the player for 5 seconds. It will continue biting the player and ramming them as well until the last of its health has been depleted.

Dragons[]

The following dragon species are native to Wasteland:

Neroxide[]

Neroxide Icon

"The Neroxide is a common drake species found in the harsh world of Wasteland. They are notorious for being stealthy, revered hunters in the dark gloomy world they call home. Their feet help them keep excellent grip on rocky terrain and are capable of allowing them to jump at extreme heights, in addition to their large, strong pincer-like arms that help keep them balanced and brace them for impact. One of the most recognizable traits of the Neroxide is its large head frills, which are shaken to intimidate any foes it may come across. The webbed spines on their tail are flexible and can be used to produce amplified rattling sounds. similar to their head frills. They have split jaws with sharp teeth, providing them with great attack power. However, Neroxides have poor health and defense but make up for this in fantastic ground speed and great leaping abilities. Taming a Neroxide can be difficult as they prefer to stay away from dragon adventurers and are rather territorial. If a dragon tamer is determined and persistent enough to gain the trust of a Neroxide, they should be prepared to take on the massive responsibility of owning one of these exotic beasts."

Venid[]

Venid Icon

"Venids are commonly spotted soaring in groups across the Wasteland skies. These wasp-winged dragons are known for their capability to reach immaculate flight speeds! If you observe flying races, you will likely see a nearby competitor riding the back of this formidable companion. Despite having a powerful dragon's breath, they mainly defend themselves with their stinger-like tails if provoked. These tails contain a potent toxin that takes a strenuous effort to heal. It is best not to disrupt these dragons in the wild, as their temper flares up quickly. They are often seen in medium-sized groups hunting prey and gathering food for their nest. Nevertheless, these dragons are still remarkable on their own, especially alongside a strong and loyal dragon tamer."

Radidon[]

Radidon Icon

"The Radidon is a large, carnivorous dragon that is a rare sight in its native world, Wasteland. These majestic beings have a wide range of temperaments, yet typically display a gentle and calm demeanour unless provoked. However, once aggravated, they can become fierce, unpredictable and hazardous. Radidons possess impressive physical strength, rendering them resilient in both offense and defense, rendering them difficult to strike down. Distinguishing themselves from others, Radidons lack eyesight, requiring alternative means for navigation and hunting. They rely on their ability to detect ground vibrations and possess a keen sense of smell, enabling them to easily track down their prey amidst the vast, open landscape of Wasteland. Earning the trust of a Radidon is a simple enough task due to their willingness to create allies. Once their trust is secured, these remarkable creatures serve as kind and devoted companions for life."

Trivia[]

  • Wasteland released March 6th, 2020.
  • Wasteland is known as Toxic within the game's code.
  • Wasteland was the fourth world to be unlocked by players to have PvP and was one of four worlds to have PvP, the other three being Jungle, Volcano, and Desert.
  • Wasteland was the second world released to be unlocked via a mission rather than with coins.
    • To unlock the Wasteland World, the player would have to be at least Level 20. The quest room could be accessed from the World Teleporter in Lobby and contained two empty glass tanks. To fill these tanks, the player would need to defeat the Toxic Boss and toxic mobs that invaded all other resource worlds. The invasive Toxic Boss and its mob minions would spawn every five minutes on a platform, much like regular bosses. By defeating them, the player would be able to attain 250 Toxic Waste and 10 Concentrated Poison. The boss and mobs would not drop either of the items if the mission was inactive. The player would have 24 hours to fill both tanks. The player would also need to sacrifice an Elder dragon with the Corrosive element, which had no time limit for completion.
      • Sometime in 2021, this quest room was removed, and Wasteland became purchasable for 100,000 Coins instead.
