The Christmas Event 2021 was an event that released on December 17th, 2021, at 3PM EST, and ended on December 31st, 2021.
On December 1st, 2021, a countdown and Christmas-themed decorations were placed in Origins and the Undercity for the event’s release.
On December 10th, 2021, additional Christmas decorations were put up in Origins and the Undercity once more.
Event[]
The event introduced two new event dragons, one being Skriffei, and the other being the Yulereinn which released in part two. The Tosknir was also reintroduced, and many winter-themed potions and accessories were released. In addition to this, the event had its own exclusive world, event currency, and minigames.
Release[]
On December 1st, Season 3 began and the Advent Tree was introduced. Christmas decorations were also put up in Origins and the Undercity.
Part One[]
Part one of the event released on December 17th, at 3PM EST. The world, known as Winter Wonderland, opened to all players and 2021 Winter Eggs became obtainable via minigames and through purchase with Snowflakes, the event currency. Part one reintroduced the Tosknir and released the new Skriffei.
Part Two[]
Part two of the event released on December 24th, which introduced the Yulereinn to the game.
World[]
The Winter Wonderland world was covered in snow and ice with mountainous barriers, as well as its abundancy of pine trees both with and without snow. The Aurora Borealis lit up the dark blue and purple skies, and one frozen lake could be found behind the world teleporter. It also contained the event’s shops, as well as houses and festive decorations. In the rear of the world was an inaccessible large clearing, which could only be entered during the Nutcracker minigame.
It also featured three exclusive minigames with their own unique structures - Santa’s Helper, Gingerbread Baker, and Nutcracker.
Badge & Title[]
If the player entered the Winter Wonderland world, they would be rewarded with the Frosty Fanatic title and the Winter 2021 badge.
Advent Tree[]
Advent prizes and the Winter Event Countdown
The Advent Tree was a large Christmas tree that sat in the middle of Origins, and was released on December 1st, 2021. It had a single large lit up star and was covered in lights and capsules that held prizes. Below the tree lied large presents, and beside and in front of the tree were nutcrackers.
The nutcracker on the left displayed how many missions the player had to do before they could claim their reward. The nutcracker in the middle could be interacted with and would give the player their daily reward once they had completed two missions, either daily or weekly. The nutcracker on the right displayed the countdown until the event started, and later displayed that the Yulereinn had been released.

Teaser of exclusive event & season items
The two shops in the Winter Wonderland world featured Christmas-themed accessories, base buildables, potions and more. The Event Shop also sold the Winter Egg 2021. Accessories and shop items were able to be bought with Snowflakes.
Both structures were close to each other and were near the world teleporter.

The Christmas Wheel acted as the Spinner Wheel in the Winter Wonderland World. It could be spun once every 24 hours and was located behind the large Christmas tree. Some of the known prizes are listed below.

NPCs[]
A nutcracker named Nelly the Nutcracker was located in front of a large central Christmas tree, which was identical to the one in Origins, but without the capsules. Upon being interacted with, they would say:
- “Welcome to our Winter Wonderland Village!”
- “The village is full of minigames which you can complete to receive Snowflakes!”
- “Use Snowflakes to buy Winter Eggs and other items at the shops to my left!”
Speedy Incubators[]
Similar to the Premium Incubators in the 2021 Easter Event, these incubators were able to hatch eggs 25% faster. Additional incubators could be purchased with Snowflakes, with six incubators in total.

Snowflakes[]
Snowflakes, similar to Solar Flares, acted as the hard currency during the 2021 Winter Event. Players were able to use Snowflakes to buy winter-themed items, such as potions and accessories.
They were obtainable by participating in minigames, spinning the Christmas Wheel, buying them with Robux, and were one of the prizes from the Advent Tree.

Minigames[]
Cold War cast teaser
Minigames were first teased on November 30th, with a total of four; two being multiplayer and two being singleplayer. The minigames included:
- Nutcracker
- Santa's Helper
- Gingerbread Baker
- Cold War
Note: Multiplayer minigames needed at least one player to participate in order to start, and had an extra 20 second countdown before they began.
The minigames’ prizes include Snowflakes and the Winter Egg 2021 which were based off of the player’s performance.
Cold War[]
The Cold War minigame involved the player having to find a spy penguin, which could be found in any world except Origins. The penguin had three spawn locations in each world, and the player was given fifteen minutes to find it. Once found, the player could be rewarded with the following prizes:

Gingerbread Baker[]
The Gingerbread Baker minigame required the player to decorate 30 cookies with any of the five toppings that were given: Green or red icing, sprinkles, ears, or eyes. The player was given three chances to decorate all of the cookies. If they messed up three times, the minigame would end. Every order made would make the conveyor belt move faster. The player could be rewarded with the following prizes:

Nutcracker[]
The Nutcracker minigame teleported any participating players to the back of the map and asked for them to bonk as many nutcrackers as they could in two minutes. The nutcrackers popped out of unboxed blue presents and could be bonked by using a dragon’s elemental breath. After the first two guide rounds, impostor penguins would begin to pop up. Bonking them would subtract five seconds from the remaining time that was left.

Santa's Helper[]
In the Santa’s Helper minigame, players were tasked to deliver presents to any of the nine houses, which were colored red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, pink, and brown. Presents could be picked up by dragons in any of the three gift bags near the Santa’s Helper building. The amount of presents needed to be delivered depended on how many players participated. Players were given five minutes to deliver all of the presents.

Event[]
Skriffei[]
The Skriffei has a lithe appearance based on a snowflake, with a slender body, a long tail, and snowflake-like wings. Spine protrusions line its tail tip, neck, arms, legs, back, and face. Its small head is also adorned by two slender horns. Embedded diamond-shaped pendants also line the sides of its neck, hips, and the sides of its tail.
The Skriffei was released during part two of the event on December 17th, 2021. It can be hatched from the Winter Egg 2021.
Tosknir[]
The Tosknir is coated in ice armor throughout its body. It has a wyvern form, with large icy wings and sturdy legs. Its tail is rugged and coated in plating, just like its neck. It carries two massive tusks on its jaws and small crests on the top of its head. Icy fumes leak from the armor on its neck and tail as well.
The Tosknir was released during part two of the event on December 24th, 2021. It could be hatched from the Winter Egg 2021 (with a hatchable cap of one per account) or won from the Winter Wheel.
Yulereinn[]
The Yulereinn heavily resembles a reindeer. It bears two massive antlers, a pair of large, jagged wings, and a long furry tail. Its neck is heavily coated in fur, and it is equipped with four slim hoof-like legs and hoof-like claws on its wings. At the end of its furred tail are antler-like protrusions. Permanent-colored gold streaks line its antlers, nose, wing claws, and the ends of its neck, foreleg, and tail fur.
The Yulereinn was released during part two of the event on December 24th, 2021. It can be hatched from the Winter Egg 2021.
Filler Dragons[]
Howler[]
The Howler has an owl-like appearance with two large feathered wings and a fanned tail. Its legs are short and sport talons, and its head bears two long ears and a short beak.
Its hatch rate is 84% and it can currently be hatched from the Winter Egg 2021 with no limit.
Eggs[]
The Winter Egg 2021 was purchasable from the Event Shop for 400 Snowflakes, and was also a prize on the Christmas Wheel, and was the 23rd prize on the Advent Tree. It could also be obtained via minigames.
It is white in color and is dotted with faded blue scales, along with a Santa hat that sits on top of it. It takes one hour to hatch.
All three of the event dragons were able to be hatched from the Winter 2021 Egg. The Yulereinn, Skriffei, and the Howler are still obtainable from the egg, as the Tosknir was removed when the event ended.
Trivia[]
- The 2021 Winter Event (if the advent calendar is included) is the longest event, lasting 31 days.
- Despite there being a white present in the Santa’s Helper gift bags, there is no white chimney.
