Worlds are the main settings of Dragon Adventures. Each world has different resources, foods, dragons and eggs that can be obtained, as well as world-specific mobs and bosses.

New players will always start the game in the Origins world. To unlock new worlds, the player must complete all six World Missions in their latest unlocked world at least once to be able to unlock the next world. Undercity will always be unlocked at the start of the game.

Most events take place in exclusive worlds that are only accessible during their runtime.

The Undercity has many differences compared to the other permanent worlds.
- There are no mobs nor bosses present.
- The world lacks specific eggs, dragons, resources, and foods.
- It is the only permanent world that has an obtainable element potion.
- It is the only permanent world with two entrances: one through Origins, and the other through teleportation.
Prior to September 28th, 2024, the player must have hatched all of the dragons from the previous world before they could unlock the next. World dragons obtained from trading did not count towards new world unlocks.
