The Yueshi is a season dragon that was originally obtainable through Dragon Season 17.

"Yueshi is one of the few known legendary dragon species that is confirmed to exist, with rare sightings describing it as a dashing and flamboyant dragon. Despite its small size, many may find this dragon species frightening due to its intimidating appearance. Those who choose to befriend it, on the other hand, may gain a faithful friend. This dragon is characterized by its powerful magic, which allows it to fly at high speeds and travel between worlds. It is said that meeting this dragon represents good fortune."

Obtainability[]

The Yueshi could be obtained from the following Dragon Seasons:

The Yueshi was obtainable through completing 10 season pass levels during Dragon Season 17 as the final reward.

The season lasted through the whole of February 2023.

The Yueshi was obtainable by completing 10 season pass levels during Dragon Season 29 as the final Dragon Pass reward.

The Dragon Pass costs 350 Robux.

The season lasted through the whole of February 2024.

The Yueshi can be hatched from the following egg(s):

The Yueshi has a 25% chance of hatching from the Lunar New Year Egg 2025.

The Lucky Egg gamepass does not affect the Yueshi's hatch chance.

The other dragons exclusive to the Lunar New Year Egg 2025 are the:

  • Hongliang, with a 74% chance of hatching.
  • Fulong, with a 1% chance of hatching.
Additionally, the Yueshi also has a 25% chance to hatch with the Celestial Blaze cosmetic trait.

The Yueshi has a 45% chance of hatching from the Golden New Year Egg 2025.

The Lucky Egg gamepass does not affect the Yueshi's hatch chance.

The other dragons exclusive to the Golden New Year Egg 2025 are the:

  • Hongliang, with a 53% chance of hatching.
  • Fulong, with a 2% chance of hatching.
Additionally, the Yueshi also has a 25% chance to hatch with the Celestial Blaze cosmetic trait and a 10% chance to hatch with the Golden Shimmer cosmetic trait.

The Yueshi is able to be bred only with other Yueshis. It has a 12-hour breeding cooldown and a 25,000 Coin breeding fee.

In addition, the female parent of the offspring will become Soul Bound and thus be unable to be auctioned, bred, or traded.

The same rules apply to Co-Hatching, however both players' parent Yueshis will become Soul Bound.

The minimum starting bid is 25,000 Coins.

The auto buy has the same limit.

The Yueshi is able to be traded.

  • The Yueshi's name is a portmanteau of Chinese 月亮 (Yuèliàng), meaning "moon", and 獅子/狮子 (Shīzi), meaning "lion."
  • The Yueshi takes inspiration from the qilin and the Chinese New Year lion dance and lion costumes. Its anatomy also resembles that of a horse.
    • The Yueshi also resembles the 年兽 (nian), a mythological beast in Chinese mythology.
  • The Yueshi's Back Leg Fin mutation is also accompanied by a pair of shoulder fins that were not listed as mutations on its concept art.
  • The Yueshi is the shortest season dragon in terms of length.
  • The Yueshi emits lavender-colored splash-like effects from its feet.
  • The Yueshi and the Fulong were originally the only season dragons to be listed as Legendary and not Epic. This was likely because their respective month, February, was the shortest month of the year.
    • On February 9th, 2024, some season dragons' rarities were shuffled around, and the above information is no longer true.
  • A Yueshi NPC named Shan acted as an instructor for the Lunar New Year Event 2024 and Lunar New Year Event 2025.
    • There were also an additional four Yueshi NPCs that were located around the event area, including Fuzanglong, Huanglong, Pu Lao, and Suanni.
  • The Yueshi was made breedable on March 22nd, 2024, alongside the Casirius, Chrysaloom, Nadaler, Paranox, Robodon, Rozora, Solarizon, Thorkonyx, Torneidus, Tosknir, Tsukuizan, and the Woodluma, with Wave 4 of the breedable Soul Bound dragons. [1]
